Maybe that was the only relevant offer guaranteeing him playing time without any option/obligation to buy as some other teams from Serie A might have wanted in exchange for giving him continuity...

Perhaps it's for the best afterall, his playing time here would have been limited for now and even more limited once Arthur returns.
Maybe we play too nice with these smaller serie a sides.

I made a mistake.

Not so long ago I said we'll either use him for a swap deal or sell him.

But I don't know why this surprises people. It's a common thing/mistake we do.

like we cared, bro. if it was the case we'd have kept ranocchia for an other half a season or so.
It matters whether they care or not. Loaning a youngster out so they can play isn’t necessarily a bad thing, especially when it’s a dry loan. My issue is that it’s serie B.

If he was a good enough player surely someone better than Cremonese would have offered to take him on loan without us being strong armed into giving an option to buy. Plenty of clubs are broke no? Surely they could have used a free midfielder for a season?

Maybe he just isn't that great.
