i'd certainly keep fagioli. only considering human trafficking matters, his market value isn't too high at the moment, and in a couple of years, he'll be worth just as much as locatelli is worth now. and he's a very talented player too.

He will worth as much as Locatelli if he play as much as Locatelli (regular starter for Serie A club)
So if we can put buy back clause in the deal it will be great for us, let Sassuolo groom him and we get the result

If he cannot get first place in team like Sassuolo , then he will not get playing time in Juventus too surely

Latest rumors suggest that Dragusin will be the key for Locatelli. I can't say I'd be disappointed, Juve is not that good at grooming CBs, this position is too risky to play kids somehow.

Fagioli should be kept, but as long as Allegri sees him as a useful piece for the midfield. If he's to sit another year on the bench, then we might as well loan/sell him. He won't develop without playing and Sass would be perfect for him to grow tbh.

I better keep Dragusin as bench than Fagioli, and we are pretty low in defense especially if we will sell Demiral for $$
This kid need place to shine and get regular playing time, full minutes to play and show his trade. But we still need control to make sure we can get him back whenever we want

if we loan/sell him odds are he'll never return. we simply need to start trusting our youth products. we had a terrible youth policy for years. now that we have a pretty strong generation of youngsters, i think we should always keep those 4 homegrown slots filled with eligible players and give them regular opportunities for 2-3 seasons. guys like fagioli, dragusin, correia, rafia, ranocchia (etc) are already good enough to play against the bottom table teams. that's how bentancur became an occasional starter and a regular squad player for max, and a regular starter last season. ffs, we even have 5 subs now, it's the best time ever to start putting some faith in those guys with relatively low risk.

I agree 100%... However, we all know it doesn't work at Juve somehow. Managers are under huge pressure to deliver results and youth was used just to paint books green.

The change needs to happen somewhere at the top. Financial crisis might help here. Otherwise those kids will never develop into real players. As things stand I fancy Rovella's chances much more than Fagioli's, simply because the first gets chances at a shitty Genoa, meanwhile Fagioli made two appearances throughout the last season...
BTW. That's how Locatelli developed and we want him badly now.

that makes sense, but rovella isn't homegrown for juve in the cl, even if he'd be good in the league, you'd need to free up a space for him in the squad to play him in european competitions. (before the super league starts, that is.) while fagioli is homegrown, he can coexist with all the overpaid mercenaries without any issues, even after he's 21.

an other reason why it would make sense to keep some homegrown players in the squad is depth. we'll have plenty of injuries, and we'll need a huge squad for all competitions.

If he starts to excel he will be brought back most likely. Most youth products dont though. We dont have time to take risks on players like that
