Just browsing today for 2 minutes in a lecture, was exciting to see what would be going on in nicks thread. And i have to say im very dissappointed.

Any respect i had for nick is gone with his recent remarks on here. Disgraceful, and i find myself wondering what exactly is going to need to happen in here before this thread is closed.

As opposed to your insightful and meaningful thoughts...by the way Juve is a soccer team based in Italy.

    Padovano...Best time to call??

I don't think it's gonna be closed simply because this is the designated thread for this kind of conversation, and if this thread was closed, it would spill over into other threads. It's kind of like how they isolated lepers in the olden days :)

Mac..take a friggin hike. Your "talk" has become tiresome.

To answer your questions....my Juve bitterness EXTRA crisp nowadays is attributed to:

    - The year of arrogance and denial in not giving us credit for last season.

    - The belief that Nedved is the best player in Europe

    - The ironic nickname Ancelotti received (loser) mind you only when he was at Juve..it seems now Lippi is "it"...TAG!

    - Last Sunday in Torino...while singing in la curva with the FDL having to duck from coins, flying chairs and URINE filled water ballons :yuck: digusting friggin GOBBI "bastardi".

Padovano....7 pm yeah thats like 1 in the morning in Italy... is your secretary hot...or NOT?!

Actually it was much worse than that. They called him "faccia da maiale", i.e. "pigface". On his first return to the Delle Alpi as a Milan coach, a section of the fans displayed a huge image of a swine-looking Ancelotti. I don't think any coach deserves such a treatment (except Alex Ferguson), and I am sure that a correct and humble one like Carletto definitely doesn't.

The Juve fans never really liked Ancelotti, probably because of his past as a Roma player, but one would expect more sense of respect from those who support Italy's allegedly most loved team.

This reminds me of a poster I saw at the San Paolo in Naples roughly 15 years ago in a Napoli-Milan game. Sacchi was our coach back then. As some of you may know, "Sacchi" means "bags" in italian, so the Neapolitan fans considered it appropriate to draw three big bags filled with human excrement, with the writing "Sacchi di merda" at the bottom (literally : "bags of shit", though it could also mean "****ing Sacchi"). It really got me upset back then, but thinking of it now, I kind of find it funny...

    - Last Sunday in Torino...while singing in la curva with the FDL having to duck from coins, flying chairs and URINE filled water ballons digusting friggin GOBBI "bastardi".
Now that's disgusting, no question. The only time I was thrown piss at is when I was a freshman at university and had to go through this complex "initiation" process...

I would like to make clear that Ancelotti received such treatment only from a section of the Juventus faithful. There was also a large group that supported him as coach. I always liked Ancelotti. The fans that gave him the sort of disgusting treatment mentioned above never accepted him from the start. Carletto was known to be of Milan and Roma, and had no prior connection to Juve, so they would not accept him even if he won everything imaginable. I liked him due to his excellence with the Azzurri.

I think Carlo is in his dream job now, and he deserves it, and I wish him well.

Fabi, impossible to go off topic in this thread.

Bags of Piss - sounds like the beginning of a great song. We should write it! The newest terrace song "Bags of Piss" by Coach Pigface. Popular in Torino and all over Latin America. The throwing of piss is wildly popular in Mexico.

    Ok Nick

Firstly, bottles/balloons of piss were being thrown in both directions... something that is very common in italy... So dont make out it was only juve fans... Go see Milan - inter, sit with the inter fans and see how much piss you get drenched in.

Secondly, how come you dont mention the tier gas cannistors thrown by milan fans at centro juve

You dont mention the flares fired into centro (admittedly they were returned jus as bad)

The chairs thrown from tier 3 into tribuna

The fight started by milanista's outside nord 1 entrance after the game.

The simple fact is that these things happen at virtually every game in italy... there are allways fans that do these things.

You dont mention how, when I left the curva after halftime to go sit with my wife in poltroncine, there were several milan fans jumping around cheering with absolutely no problem from the juve fans whatsoever.

    Be reasonable...
I admit juve fans were out of line at times, but the milan fans were equally bad and worse in the case of the tier gas

    MY VERSION OF EVENTS:

The Gobbi's are renound for being "cavemen" Paul. Firstly, yes I was sitting in the heat of the action and I did throw some stuff back..a few blue seats that were hell to rip from the metal. I was on the second level/tier very close to the gates (seperating gates). So across from me was the Gobbi bastards yelling before we even arrived. The neo-Nazi Juventini above were already plastered and brandishing knives (criminals) and YES some of the losers in our section responded with more "brandishing" of armor.
The bottle throwing began at about 18:30 ... my New York slang cursing didn't help much as they couldn't understand what the fok I was saying.
Then along came the Gobbi's with fruit, ballons filled with piss :yuck: one dude got it right on the back and another Gobbis got it right in the ears. I basically hovered under my hood. Though one vegetable hit me in the shoulder to which I responded with a chair or two. (yeah yeah so what I was not thinking).
The real party began when our "cavalry" arrived at about 7:30 (one hour before game time) I speak of the FDL leaders, Brigate and Tigre .. it was at this point as they entered that I remember the fights began PAUL..and not instigated by the Devils as you suggested. Again I don't know what went on because all I heard was rumbles with red flares sparking up.
The tear gas only began once the police cars were set aflame by either the cavalry or the Gobbi's.. there are different versions on this one. Never got the real story.
The Real SHIT hit the fan a few minutes later when coins and ****in rotten fruit and piss began flying onto us to which we responded with a few surprises of our own...EGGS ANYONE...after getting another rotten friggin fruit in the neck I responded with some eggs. The cops quickly "settled" the Gobbis and things stopped flying.
I regret what went on but it was kill or be killed at that point..when you are ducking from piss, fruit and metal you are not thinking straight.

Whatever happened everywhere else Paul..I don't know...but when I was receiving that shite in my face I was not thinking about who was right or wrong..

    Nick,

My point wasnt whether it happened or not... I was there

You dont have to tell me about the fans in centro.. we all know they are arseholes... When i went to centro to see some friends at 19:30 i wasnt exactly welcome there myself... Due to me wearing my Fighters shirt

You made out it was all the juve fans in your original post... It was both sets of fans

You make such a point about how sick the piss throwing is... yet milan and juve fans took part in that activity.

The only thing i said was started by milan fans was the fight outside afterwards... it was

The only throwing of tier gas was from milanistas... some of which effecting people sitting in family btw

As i said.. both fans were as bad as each other... these things happen at virtually everygame in italy... well everyone of the 200 odd ive been to anyway.

    Paul

No doubt that both sides are to blame. However, at San Siro I was never witness to the flying "piss". The rotten fruit I have seen tossed by the Tigre (FDL (we) are the most sane of the groups) and YES I have seen the ballons hurled in Rome. HOWEVER, this was particularly shocking because it was the first time it came this close. A guy 3 rows under me got it smack on the neck. At that point everyone around him went ballistic which usually happens when you get hit..you take it personal. When I got hit an untamed beast inside of me was unleashed..not thinking I was swearing in English (natural reaction) causing heads to turn. At one point its sad to say but if I had the chance to smash the guy who hurled the fruit at me I would have probably done it. Thinking and logic takes a back seat in those situations.
Anyhow, set aside the violence...our singing and cheering was history breaking..it was reported in the Gazzetta and Corriere...don't tell me you didn't notice the BEAUTIFUL CHAOS among us. We were louder than the rest of you. (Stadium wise).
The flares I saw thrown....back and forth but the tear gas .. sorry I missed that one. I did see it thrown at the Tigre & Brig. group on their way but they semi-deserved it.
Paul next time come and say HI...they would get an even bigger kick out of your t-shirt! Just listen for the American curse words as opposed to the Italian ones.

VINMAN: Nothing much bro...just venting about the game on Sunday...we need some NY Cops (esp. Buffalo) to teach these savages how to act!!
