I've been cought up recently could barley visit this place and post. Seeking validation from whom? Maybe you should stop projecting.
Cool story. Projecting? No. Just curious as to why someone, in their right mind, would say no to Zizou and Allegri, two serial winners, and yes to a nobody like Gattuso :boh:

Then you could simply ask instead of making assumptions but that's not the way you are is it after all you're here for your daily dose of bitching and whining regardless of our highs and lows.

So, are you going to answer the question or accuse me of bitching and whining and proceed to do the same? :boh:

That's slightly hypocritical of you, don't you think? ;)

Yeah settle for Gattuso while we are in the reach of Zidane or Allegri is absurd

But more absurd if we settle with Pirlo after thisdisastrous year
We cannot even beat the relegation battle team

After all, we have a high chance to do Meelan against Bologna while Atalanta trashed Milan and we are losing on aggregate 4-3

Sell that shit to tourists you were as critical during Max tenure. Now you hold him in such a high regards because we're obviously going through end of an era. Any case Max is the past and if we're going to change coaching staff again I'd rather a Conte type to instill the right mentality first and Gattuso is from the same school and closest available.

I was critical of Max when we signed him, and in his last season here. I think many others were too, but it's what it is. In hindsight, I was probably wrong.

I agree that Gattuso has the ability to motivate, but I sincerely doubt his tactical nous, and he lacks experience at the highest level.

We won't be playing there for a while anyway until this new group settles and if we go by the same formula then we need a head case to keep them on their toes at the beginning.

Gattuso remains the preferred option for Juventus. In the last few hours, there are signs that he could be the new coach. The contacts between his agent & Agnelli are constant & direct. In the last few days the management are ready to push for him to come. [Calciomercato)

While I don’t disagree about the midfield being piss poor. Dybala has been worse this year than every midfielder in this team.
Don't agree with that. I mean, I can at least remember Dybala scoring a couple good goals. Ramsey has literally done nothing, Bentancur single-handedly got us knocked out of Europe within 5 minutes, and Arthur has been completely useless.

Preferences on order:

Allegri
Zidane
Gasperini
S. Inzaghi

Not interested in Gattuso. There could be other options that are even better but not thinking of those right now

Allegri has a track record, knows the club and is a reliable coach.

We are in a rebuilding phase.... He is the guy I would pick. No frills, no excitement, but a known quantity and winner

As much as I dislike Allegri's football philosophy he will be a considerable improvement after Pirlo. We can't afford another season like the current one.

The way I see it... we went to Allegri (we saw the pic with Cherubini) but we didnt agree to his conditions... probably he wanted control over the transfers and Paratici and Nedved gone.

Now he is gone to Madrid...

Decent, yeah, just like we are now when we're actually motivated. But we're juventus. Decent isn't enough and certainly not every now and then and that's the whole problem; these guys aren't hungry anymore. Plus there is a HUGE lack of leaders.

@Robee
You're right but we can't afford a massive overhaul because we're not like Man City to have such a squad. We simply need to make the most of what we have and rather than buy a bunch of new players I'd invest in a quality coach. Arthur and Rabiot should be trained like the others to become accomplished in their roles, every footballer should be able to do the basics and they will do that if they know what to do - look at Bentancur with Allegri organisation and compare to Pirlo organisation, perfectly capable players turned to shit and running wherever they want and getting exposed.

Like you said, Juventus should aim for the top but we need to practical here. We need to return to winning the league, win some Coppas then think about Europe. That will take a couple of seasons at least. With a good coach and no new signings, I expect us to win the league next year and then build gradually. Our Sarri/Pirlo experiment took us back 10 years, I don't want to fall back further by selling up our whole squad when actually the coach has been the key to our failures.
