To be honest and if I'm putting myself in Secco's shoes, let's see who we can really buy as an emergency CB:

- We can forget the Big names(Carvalho...)
- We can forget players fighting with us for a 4th spot(Ujfalusi...)

...

we're stuck in buying players who's contract runs out this summer who are not fighting in any competitions. (Mellberg?)

we're stuck with mid-table team players. (Carozzieri, Canini)

we're stuck with players on the transfer list. (Stendardo, Simic)

we could make a move that nobody expects but we have Secco and cie in charge so if we can get Da Costa that would be a stunning move that I would expect. Does he play RCB or LCB. I would prefer the 1st but I think he's a lefty.


So these are the realistic targets for a troubled team like Juve in search of a CB in the winter market.

Mellberg, Carozzieri, Simic, Canini, Stendardo and the long shot Da Costa.

yep, I've been talking about him for a little while but I'm afraid Milan, Roma...have better chances to get him instead of us naturally.

Just my opinion but in January...slim. I don't see why they would sell their best D to us right now since we're battling with them for a CL spot.

Maybe in the summer with a good amount of $$$ and player on loan/co-ownership.

This poll should be a little more realistic. We aren't getting Vidic, we aren't getting Carvalho, and we certainly are not purchasing Zapata right now.
