I think Cappelo is too defensive for the nation, if he will get italy im sure he will succeed but it's not the target right now.
the NT playing very old fashion game, we have to change our think and play with more creativities midfielder, player like gattusso, ambrosini and ETC are not enough good italy has to play with agressive D.Mid (Tacchela l'anima who else??) alongside creative one (Albertini or GiGi DiBiagio). our attacking mid is great( player such totti, doni, pirlo and so) , and i don't have to tell about are grande attack and deffense... we have the best GK(s) !!

i think the problem in the last years in italia are the chiken coaches.. there always were great player, as i said capello is defently not the guy and to bring back the excelent GK but poor and oldfashion coach Zoff would be ashame.
In my opinion this is the time for Lippi, he is very expirience and playing great soccer, i hope he will get the job - he deserve it.

about juve..if he'll go i hope vialli will replace him, i just like himm sooooo much!! ( as metter of fact i would prefer Tonio Conte but...)

so.... forza juve e' italia sempre!!!

I really think the Italian FA have to take action. Trap obviously doesn't intend to resign,so sack him. He's done enough rubbish with the Azzurri, and will only continue to bring shame to Italy if he manages the team any longer. Hopefully the next Azzurri coach will be able to return honour to the nation that was once such a dominant and consistantly dangerous side.

"The Italian Football Federation has the utmost respect for Giovanni Trapattoni on a human and professional scale," said President Franco Carraro.

Me too, but now it's time for a vacation:D

Marco Tardelli ??? Claudio Gentile??

I hope it's a kind of a joke:confused:
I hope the next manager is either Dino Zoff or Gianluca Vialli.

Del Neri is the most offensive coach....

Vialli is new.....he did well with chelsea...

Cosmi plays good football....he has just never had TOP-CLASS players..

Boniek as a player-fabulous, he gave Poland much, but as a coach... Fortunately, he wants to resign, if we won't come trough!
:D He even wanted to resign a few days ago..., but that's not important.

For god sake , anyone can tell me why vialli ?!!

he made nothing in his career as a manager !!

he has been sacked from chelsea and watford aswell !!!

chelsea players said tha his personality is weak !!

he has no preffered formation !! ( how come u say attacking mentality ) he tried 4-4-2 , 3-5-2 , 4-5-1 ... etc

he used more than 20 players for chelsea in 2 months ( where is the stablity )

in his whole period with chelsea he didn't create team identity .
owners of chelsea and watford said that highring him was a big mestake ,,

did he coach in italy ?!

noooooooooooooo he didn't

did he succeed in any team that he coached ?

noooooooooo he didn't

so following the media won't get us good coach !!

Personally I don't see how Dino Zoff could change Italys way of playing significantly better.
In Euro 2000, the only match were positive football was played was in the final.

If we want Italy to change their style of play they're gonna have to get a coach who has a different style of play. Vialli could be the guy, but I'm not certain. The FA will do what they please, and in all likelyhood their choice will be a boring, predictable one. Choosing ex-U21 managers fall under that category, but, hey: it doesn't take a tit to fail at Inter.

I don't know what that say's about him, or Chelsea for that matter, but it's a fact.
