What a fucking dipshit.

By the way, he looks awful. Looks like he could die literally any day now.
I'm surprised this isn't getting more traction.

He doesn't just look worse than 8 years ago. He looks a hell of a lot worse than 6 months ago.

His speech has been slurring for a while now and he never really made much sense. But that he feels the need to come up with a new word to explain the random tangents he goes on to somehow indicate the nonsense he's saying is related tells me he knows he's slipping. And you can see the effort it requires for him to speak. I know he's standing just fine and all, but he can hardly move his mouth.

Is this indicative of small strokes or of dementia? Maybe. I don't know. The man is also simply very old. But it's not good.

Will it have an impact on the election? Probably not. But I'd be extremely surprised if that man lives for another 4 years.

I worry more about JD Vance than any other presidential or vice presidential candidate. IMHO, he's stupid, slimy and spineless.
I actually think Vance is not stupid.

He sometimes says weird stuff and he's always awkward. But stupid? I'm not convinced. More than stupid he's a conniving motherfucker and he definitely does not have the best interests of the average American at heart.

as an american wannabe president, you don't follow russian orders and ideologies. russians will fuck you over 100/100 times. he should simply know better who to trust, who to rely on and who to be indebted to. relying on putin is the very definition of stupid on the long run.

It is, if you're a Russian oligarch. Because in that scenario you can only enjoy your freedom within certain limits and, at some point, Putin will inevitably dispose of you.

But Putin is not going to assassinate a US president. He's not going to assassinate a former US president either. So yeah, obviously it would suck for US citizens that their leader is in bed with Putin. Obviously whatever deal you make with Putin is going to be in his benefit. But as long as Trump and Vance don't have any morals, they could easily gain from that relationship on a personal level.

i didn't even imply that putin would assassinate him and that's why it's stupid to rely on him. russians can be a bit more nuanced than this

the personal gains will benefit them on the short term. it's already happening with trump, vance, musk and tons of murican journalists. and these are just the most obvious people. i bet russians also recruited judges, prosecutors, decision makers in municipalities, administrative bodies in legislation, media and market control, etc. that's what they do. and they'll all have their short term benefits

look at orbán to see what happens on the long run. ~12 years ago he wanted russians to buy the hungarian rtl tv business for him. back then he was in a different position, he could actually ask some favors. now he's russia's trojan horse in the eu, he let russians hack the hungarian ministry of internal affairs' computer systems without doing anything (of course he didn't, he was ordered not to), hungary isn't getting any eu funds because of the "friendship" between the two, and i could go on. trump will be long gone when jd will still owe putin with a favor here and there: lift some sanctions, let russia attack a country, let russia hack some us systems, plant some assets in important positions, change some bills, you get the idea. and he doesn't even need to be elected for that. once an asset, always an asset. but in case he's elected, the first favor will be about ukraine. and if ukraine lose, murica will lose some of their geopolitical influence. trump already said that he won't protect other nato allies unless they pay for it lol. then moldova, poland or some smaller eastern european countries are next, and murica will become even more powerless. then it's not a stretch to speculate that china is likely to attack taiwan, and jd won't be able to react because he'll get an order from putin. and jd, the supposedly smart dude will sit there in his oval office and look at all the mess he created.

he's ambitious, spineless, calculative, manipulative. he can count the votes, he can string two sentences together. he's got some intelligence, much more than trump. and at the same time he's still just a lightweight russian asset who lacks the backing of a voter base and powerful business circles on his own. that makes him vulnerable, controllable and an easy target. so back to square one: he's dumb.

None of what you said interests Vance.

You can't be stupid and follow the conniving opportunist model of George Wallace politics at the same time.

It will also be interesting to get your take on how some of the policies trend once he's in office. For instance, I wonder what you'll think, being a military guy, if he ends up sending in our own troops to find illegals in the inner cities to deport them, potentially creating war zones in some of these places. I don't know if you are a reservist or not, but this seems to be a dangerous decision if you ask me. Some of the other Agenda 2025-ish policies I can't imagine you liking, so if they come to fruition then hopefully it doesn't impact you. Of course, it will be hell for a lot of Americans, especially pregnant women and pretty much anyone without a family, but if you're a dude who makes a lot of money and doesn't need to round folks up then you probably will be OK.
Would likely be national guard if he were to use military. Im navy so if anything id either support NCIS which I do now if they are used in any LE capacity or head to a ship irrelevant of anything related to deporting illegals. Army/National Guard supporting federal law enforcement is what I’d envision he would be doing.

I want a complete shut down of the border until it’s secure. These hordes of people here illegally gotta go and stopped from coming in.

What would you be most looking forward to from his policies if he were to win again out of curiosity?

Crack down on immigration

If this is the case, then why don’t you and Trump focus on pushing back against the Federal Reserve and its crawling inflation policies? You know full well the Fed is going to lower rates including when Trump is in office and that’s going to hurt people who need a strong dollar, notwithstanding the tariffs as well. People who live vicariously through Trump are why we have a J6 or bus drivers get punched in the face. They’re nothing but a bunch of losers who have to rely on a fascist government to make their lives whole. They’re fucking losers bro, you know it.
I’d love for him to work with Massie/Paul on the FR.

I can understand the point of securing the border and I actually support that. But I don't see how it's feasible to round up a million illegals. This seems like a massive police state in the making and it will cost the lives of good people in LE or national guard. You're not going to send a team of reservists into Compton for instance and think they're just going to let them do whatever they want.
