You can educate yourself by using other resources. Use google, read articles on game theory, strategic civil disobedience, history, these are all documented through the painstaking efforts people have made across various not-free societies in history in order to have their voices heard and achieve the best outcomes at the lowest cost. The guy has tweeted not a bunch of conspiracies, but simply some strategic tactics that have been researched in this very free country. It doesn't matter if, according to you or him, what the protesters demand doesn't match in importance what people in not-free countries have protested throughout the years, that's another story. What he has piled up has been known to anyone with some background in the matter, or otherwise a little interest in seeking the truth, some common sense, and some ability to logic and question.

I think it might have more to do with it generating less interest from a tired viewer base, so focus is shifted in the media.
