it is a lot more work than we thought it would be tho, especially for two people with basically no prior experience
we’ve done the base and are pouring the concrete slab this week. He’s having surgery because he tore his labrum or whatever so the brick laying will probably be next year

Good. Give them exactly what they want. Ignore them they keep burning shit down.
Honestly, the best thing would be to let democrats do exactly what they want in these cities. The democrats that voted for them are getting exactly what they voted for and serves them right. As annoyed as I am that my country is on fire, at the very least the sane independents out there are learning the hard way that the nut jobs on the left are WAY worse than the ones on the right. Good luck Democrats. You damn near burnt down the country with one civil war, but failed, so try it again and see how that works.

The guy feels like he is presenting an eureka moment to his followers but all he does is reviewing the most effective tactics that protesters have used all over the world all the time. There is no secret in what he has written, not even in a single one of them. These things are being discussed and researched publicly. The goal is to achieve what one demands. Whether or not we agree the demands are legitimate is irrelevant but is exactly why this guy thinks he is describing some sort of terrorist activities: only because he thinks they are protesting for illegitimate demands, it therefore means that they shouldn't be there protesting. Any strategic element to their protest is then a manipulation and distortion of the reality. Here's what MLK said: ‘If you confront a man who has been cruelly misusing you, and say “Punish me, if you will; I do not deserve it, but I will accept it, so that the world will know I am right and you are wrong,” then you wield a powerful and just weapon'.
