It's a bit of a broken record from the left that everyone who doesn't want Socialism or Democratic Socialism is uneducated or has a high school education. That's nothing more than ad hominan nonsense as plenty of people who hold different "degrees" are fans of Capitalism and reject the notion that two aforementioned structures are feasible and amazing. The United States is a very unique country with a lot of debt that already has a ton of social programs, so there really isn't a comparison to be made to other countries. If Democratic Socialism is capitalism with social security and other "free" stuff, then we already have Democratic Socialism! The next obvious route is Socialism, and socialist programs with a lot of debt never turns out well. We need lesser gobernment, not more.
You definitely need better labour laws, and universal health care.

yep, labor in the US is fucked. People can get fired for no reason, vacation time is either a joke or nonexistent. Company owners have tricked Americans into believing this is normal.

don’t even get me started on the tipping culture. Restaurant and bar owners don’t have to pay a living wage and pass the cost on to the customers.

labor laws and healthcare in the US are most definitely a joke.

The level of stupidity that always happens when a presidential election is about to take place never, ever ceases to amaze me.

@Bjerknes , you being from Michigan should get a big fucking kick out of this

Wow, that's really dumb.

No, just because you're an "at will" employee doesn't mean you can get fired for no reason. The employers I've dealt with always need a reason and have to painstakingly document any interaction that would lead to a termination. Read this.

I get the frustration with the tipping culture, but at the end of the day, the business owner would still pass the additional expense onto the consumer through raising prices on menu items.

Rule number one in Economics 101: There is no free lunch in economics (or in life in general).

BREAKING NEWS: Tom Steyer has dropped out of the race.

I don't know who he is either. He was polling at 3% nationally though, also here's him trying to win over black voters or something

The law should set a minimum amount of vacation days for employees.

The US can be pretty backward in some ways.
