Trump refused to endorse Paul Ryan or John McCain in their primaries.

Praised Ryan's opponent instead. Said these are tough times so strong leadership is required and he's not there yet for Ryan. Said Ryan asked him for endorsement. Ryan spokesman said this is not true.

Then he blamed John McCain for not doing a much better job with military Vets.

He also said if he loses the presidential election he's going to start 2-3 "anti-certain candidate Super-PACs to savage candidates of his choosing in future elections, and fund them with $10 mil apiece.

What an absurd human being.

And people support this guy. Get wrecked.

"I'm afraid the election's going to be rigged. I have to be honest," Trump told voters in Ohio, a crucial swing state.

"I'm telling you, November 8, we'd better be careful, because that election is going to be rigged," Trump added. "And I hope the Republicans are watching closely or it's going to be taken away from us."

Andy is going to vote for this absolute moron.
Spoken liek a true authoritarian. He rhetoric is becoming increasingly dangerous. I fear he will "go full retard" in the dividing rhetoric, when he realises the election is lost.

Orator meets demagogue meets authoritarianism meets narcissism meets lack of affective & compassionated empathy.

He's basically setting the stage to delegitimize the entire election if he loses, with the entire group of uneducated, stupid followers he has.

From an article in the Guardian:

Roger Stone, a long time confidante of Trump, amplified these concerns in an interview with a far right wing radio show.

Stone said: “I think we have widespread voter fraud, but the first thing that Trump needs to do is begin talking about it constantly.”

Laying out a strategy for Trump to adopt, Stone added: “He needs to say for example, today would be a perfect example: 'I am leading in Florida. The polls all show it. If I lose Florida, we will know that there’s voter fraud. If there’s voter fraud, this election will be illegitimate, the election of the winner will be illegitimate, we will have a constitutional crisis, widespread civil disobedience, and the government will no longer be the government.’”

He also promised a “bloodbath” if the Democrats attempted to “steal” the election.

It's pretty fucked up. And seems to be the direction he's heading, by starting this "rigged election" talk this early. I'm guessing we are going to consistently hear this for the next 4 months, and if he loses, for a very long time afterwards. Even if it hits home with 10% of his supporters, that's a dangerous group he has backing him... a lot of wackos with a lot of weapons.

If anyone remembers George W. and the Cindy Sheehan thing... It's a stark contrast between Donald Trump who is willing to attack such parents of children who made the ultimate sacrifice.

I was not a big fan of George W., but at least he had some fucking compassion.

Also Trumps says:
"Mr. Khan [had] no right to stand in front of millions of people and claim" that he had never read the Constitution — a coincidental statement, given that Khan was demonstrating his First Amendment right to freedom of speech.
Contrast this to Bush:
"I sympathize with Mrs. Sheehan. She feels strongly about her position, and she has every right in the world to say what she believes. This is America. She has the right to her position. And I thought long and hard about her position — I've heard her position from others, which is 'get out of Iraq now.' And it would be a mistake for the security of this country and the ability to lay the foundations for peace in the long run if we were to do so."
Trump is a repulsive human being.

Watched the Libertarian Town Hall tonight -- some good stuff from an ideological perspective, along with a lot of humility which you never see from politicians. That's the one nice thing about Gary Johnson. But other than that, he's not a confident speaker and does not have much substance behind his answers at times; he's unable to articulate a la Rand or Ron. That's the shame here, it should be Rand Paul leading this movement. Without a strong leader, this train is going nowhere. Although I do like Weld, he's not too shabby.

He is either a Clinton plant, the greatest troll that ever lived or suffering from dementia.
I still think the Clinton plant is possible.

What does this guy want?? It can't possibly be winning the presidency
Publicity? the fracturing of the republican party? to stroke his ego with having gotten close? I agree its hard to believe he is even trying to win. He may get a shockingly high percentage of loyal voters but he was never going to win with this strategy and I don't think he, or at least the people he could afford to pay to advise him, are stupid enough to believe he could've

Your Rand Paul adoration is getting kind of creepy, Andy. Rand Paul is completely irrelevant right now. Forget about him.

That border fence Rand was suggesting is not that libertarian, right?

Maybe Rand does not want to lead this movement.

have to say GOP is pretty good at acting united. here is this clown saying unspeakable things yet they all (almost) rally behind him

what good little soldiers

Trump is almost certain to win this entire thing imo. Logic says he should have been out ages ago, but he keeps beating the odds. And now he's up against Clinton who might be a rational person and the obvious better choice and all, but who comes across as a female Beelzebub.
