Wouldn't say weeks, but yeah, I agree.

Oh and I find the whole thing both funny and pathetic.
That's an irrational analysis of the Trump election.

The President have limited power; especially domestically and on a federal level. America is still build upon the separation of powers, is still a democracy and have multiple of knowledgeable advisors and civil servants. Oh, and there's the two houses, albeit GOP dominated.

Where Trump will fail is in international diplomacy (lulz). But let's see whos gonna be the secretary of state before going all crazy.

GOP is full of people with experience in international relations. I expect some of them will make the inner circle.

Btw., did you all notice that Trump almost seemed a bit "scared" on stage? I don't think he knows what he just singed up for :D

It's not.. The US role as a superpower was already declining. Now it lost any sort of moral superiority it might have had. Also, you'll finally see EU nations realise that they have to be stronger to take care of their own safety rather than rely on the US.

Trump did look scared. And he backed down already. But I guess that makes sense when you promise to lock up your adversay, build a wall between the US and Mexico, make Mexico pay for that wall and don't allow muslims to travel to the US anymore.

So let's take a guess.

How long before Hollywood makes a movie about this? I mean, they made a movie about the life of Goerge W. Bush for some reason so this seems like a no-brainer.

After Brexit and Trump it's time for the neo-liberals to take a look at the elephant in the room.

Globalisation build upon laissez-faire economic liberalism is creating a solid foundation for right-wing populism.

Yeah, and the progressive needs to stop crying misogyny and racism every single time.

Did you see his winning speech? It was a whole nother Trump.

There's a distinct Berlusconi feel to his "showman to statesman". With solid advisors around him and a sensible secretary of state. Trump will do just fine.

Personal relationship is quite important in diplomacy. Perhaps a lockeroom douche liek Trump can actually charm Putin.

No, he won't.

Trump's speech was that of a scared man realising he can't back up his bullshit.

The problem is his voters will want him to.
