If you don’t want sex Ed taught in schools, that’s fine. But banning gender affirming care and other similar resources is anything but letting live. To me, thats all a slippery slope with intention on driving lgbtq peeps out of existence.
Gender dysphoria is not a sexual preference, it's also different from the others as it comes with a laundry list of social imposition on others. Being empathetic and meaning good tend to lead astray more than not.

I think the way we view gender dysphoria is likely to change in the future and we will probably try to disentangle gender and sex.

I've always wondered why we must see it as a physical affliction and focus on the body. If it is about a mismatch between brain and body, why not try to fix the brain? Especially because it simply cannot be a good idea to pump someone full of hormones his or her body isn't suited for. We see men having disorders because of estrogen pollution. Why then do we believe it will do wonders for their bodies if we provide them with large quantities?

I've also always thought it was so poor from an intellectual point of view to make your entire life depend on your sex. I'm happy I was born a man, but surely I could have done pretty much anything I wanted as a woman too.

And then, finally, as awful as I may sound, you don't become a woman through plastic surgery and hormone treatment. That's not how sex works.

You lost me at the laundry list. There’s like a million things that have a social imposition on others. The biggest example would be guns, and nothing is done about those.

Can’t have a feee society if only certain people have rights, sorry.

True, but I don't care very much for being labelled transphobic because I don't want to have sex with people who were born with dicks. I understand they are a marginalized group and I'm sure they face a lot of social difficulties throughout the day, but there is something incredibly aggressive in their expectations of the world around them. On the other hand you have people who freak out because someone wants to be called "miss" or 'ma'am" when she doesn't look like a conventional woman and it would be incredibly easy to just address them in the way they want to be addressed. Both parties could do with a little nuance.

Well yeah, I wouldn't want to have sex with fat girls with no teeth, so I guess we just have to choose wisely.

It could've been worse, they gave my friend food poisoning once.

Russia legitimately seems like the worst nation on Earth to live in, or at least on par with war-torn nations like Yemen.
I hate Russia to the core, but I think China and Iran are even worse tbh.

America is the model when it comes to individual liberty. I hope that never changes. Let the freaks be freaks.
Oh definitely. But they should stay the fuck away from children.

I don’t care about gender affirming care but if it means the state takes your kid away because you don’t think the kid is old enough to know better, that’s non sense.

do whatever you want as an adult just don’t make tax payers pay for it
