The left is such a mess. Its terrifying that these people have political power

https://news.yahoo.com/pledge-dismantle-minneapolis-police-collapsed-155801253.html
The fact that there are retards who think we should dismantle/abolish the police just blows my mind.

I’m perfectly fine with reasonable suggestions to demilitarize the police and redirect some funding to community support/mental health programs, alongside things like mental health crises 911 calls being responded to by Mental health professionals. That type of stuff makes sense to a degree and is at least arguable...

But wtf is wrong with people who think the answer to current problems is abolishing the police force entirely. I keep seeing shit comparing the police-prison system to slavery. Calling it modern slavery. Recently saw some climber/surfer chick I know post: “There are no good cops. The only good cop is one who resigns immediately.” Wanted to ask her if she was dropped on her head as a child.

Did you read the article? They supported the pledge "in spirit" the language was "up for interpretation". These spineless pieces of shit aren't fit to run a fucking picnic let alone a city.

So Spotify employees want to strike if Spotify doesn't start censoring Joe Rogan.
I heard, if they do, he can walk away with his 100mil so fuck them

He could buy Dybala
I don't understand how feeble these minds are of people on the left who simply can't stomach/handle a different opinion. It seems rather insecure if its easier to block/ignore/cancel someone you don't agree with rather than accept your differences and agree to disagree. Quite immature.

In any case, Rogan will always be OK. If he leaves Spotify he will find something else.

.
Its simple, their ideas don't stand on their merit so you end up signing pledges for insane childish shit then later have to claim "the language was open interpretation"

It’s not much different than retards on the right telling everyone who doesn’t agree with their specific vision/idea of America to just get the fuck out of America. But ya know, “their ideas don’t stand on their merit” so they just call everyone who disagrees anti-american and tell them they don’t deserve to be American.

One more reason why i love the trump presidency, the masks fall off and you get to see unfiltered and beyond the sanctimonious talk how ugly these people truly are.
they stopped trying to pretend, so yeah, that's nice

Louisville police major relieved of command after reportedly insulting protesters in email to other officers

Fired for telling the truth!

"These ANTIFA and BLM people, especially the ones who just jumped on the bandwagon 'yesterday' because they became 'woke' (insert eye roll here), do not deserve a second glance or thought from us."
"Our little pinky toenails have more character, morals, and ethics, than these punks have in their entire body... Do not respond to them. If we do, we only validate what they did," the email continued, according to the newspaper. "Don't make them important, because they are not. They will be the ones washing our cars, cashing us out at the Walmart, or living in their parents' basement playing COD for their entire life."

This thread is a perfect example on what is wrong with today's political discussion. People are on this constant cycle of getting triggered over and over again by the news they consume. You end up with this very deranged view of reality where there is only room for dichotomy. In reality people are much more varied than that. Painting everyone who doesn't belong to "your group" with the same brush creates a much more extreme world than it really is.

The schism is not "news" driven, some people have been working for a while to create a major culture shift. The minority that recognized the amplitude and real effect (destruction of western civ as we know it) of this shift is constantly boosting its ranks with the once slumbering majority who thought that this prediction is a "deranged view of reality" and these people will just go away.

I get that there will be always be a part of the populace that feels that their way of life is threatened by the changes that occur at that particular time. I'd fix the following sentence a bit: "destruction of western civ as we I know it". World won't suddenly become static and stop changing. Whatever your views may be I'd try to look at things with a little bit less cynicism.

My "deranged view of reality" comment was more in regards to this view that divides people to two categories and then thinks that those in the opposing category are all the same. Take the most extreme views and attribute them to every individual in that opposing group and you're bound to see the world as more divided and extreme than it really is.

Do people really think current world is worse than when terrorist bombs would go off every other day? Cause that shit was hell.
Nowadays is kinderkarten in comparison. People should keep their heads cooler.
