Megan Fox is attractive, good looking, whatever you want to say, not a butter face, but yeah I understand what you mean regarding the hype of hollywood.

She is extremely overrated (appearance wise, acting wise, no talent), like most celeb babes are (marketed as rare beauty blabla, when one is just good looking), they arent that of the ordinary, just the mix of being good looking and famous creating ridicolous hype. But to say she is butter face is bit weird, do thinking she is overhyped, defenitely isnt, she is just the latest one to be heavily marketed as hottest babe, nothing more, nothing less.

Just caught Public Enemies, the first film i have actually enjoyed for a long time, the hired one hell of a sound mixer aswell. This is a really good film that is actually doing something rather than repeating something.

Public Enemies

Dillinger dies :D

Seriously tho, for the first time in my life I witnessed people in the theater applauding after the film ended.

So is Public Enemies actually good?

I saw The Times only gave it 2/5, but they are probably determined to dislike anything that might actually be popular.

It was a really good film. It had a couple of lulls where not much happened, but that was unavoidable if it was to remain faithful to the novel and the true story. The thing that is really annoying with films at the moment if how unoriginal they have become, i saw two adverts in the cinema for two films before Public Enemies started. One was for 'The final destination' which is just the first three repeated with different deaths. The other was for a film called 'The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3' - . I was astounded that the writers and the director thought that could get away with it. You can tell that the pitch was "i want to make a new disaster movie its gonna be Phone booth/Die Hard/Speed meets densil washington." I was amazed i didnt catch a glimpse of bruce willis in the trailer tbh.

One of the reasons that 'Public Enemies' is because the closest thing iv seen in the last 30 years to is 'Road to Perdition' and the only reason that they are similar is because they are set in the same time period. I guess when you see it you will understand how nice it is to break the monotomy of modern film making. Also iv said it before but i was amazed at the sound quality, it was really good.

The Taking of Pelham 123 is actually a remake of an older film: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0072251/
You should check it out if you get the chance, it's quite good imo.
Based on the trailer I think the new version will be somewhat different, different in a bad way I'm afraid.

I wasnt aware of that i hadnt taken enough interest in it to research it lol. It still reiterates my point that film makers are running out of ideas. Mark Kermode raised a point recently where he said that there is absolutely no point in making remakes unless the first film was a bad film.

Overrated? I believe that Lindsay Lohan, Scarlett Johanssen, Adriana Lima, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and esp Jessica Alba are far more overrated than her.
At least she is beautiful (symmetric) and not just sexy (fake huge lips+boobs and bitch attitude)...

I agree about the hype though, right now, she is as hyped as Dago...
