That's kinda what threw me off, it started as this typical modern day action movie with no plot, no twists, nothing. Here's this guy he must be dead, now everyone go kill him. Plus when I saw 2 chicks and a bunch of punkers as professional hitmen I immdiatelly realised it's not for me. If it has a unpredictable ending I just might come around to watch it till the end but so far I'm not too interested in giving it another chance..

The punkers are really pathetic but the two chicks have the most interesting plan and execution for the attempt.

sorry to say it( and i risk the wrath of vlatko here) but for me de nero is teh gretest ever. simply because al pacino, great as he is, hams it up often and overacts in many films. devils advocate is a great example, good film, good performance but WAY over teh top at times, he is always better when he is a little more subtle

what was that movie with de niro and eddie murphy?? what a failed bit that was eh? but i get wat ur saying cuz pacino puts himself in bad roles and tries to dig his ass out of a horrible script. wait for oceans 13, he bombs that movie beyond words as bad as that series has already been.

sure any actor can make a mistake in role choice(de niro was in rocky and bullwinkle ffs) but pacino seems to think making the characters larger than life will help. i preffered his more understated roles, scent of a woman for example or the menacing aura of michael corleone

I love De Niro too but Pacino is a class above for me. I loved him in Devil's Advocat, though I do know what you mean with overacting, however it doesn't bother me at all, when he looses his temper in a role it just looks so damn good, top notch acting. He can do it all. De Niro is no worse but what "bothers" me about him is the fact I've been disapointed with some of his classic movies like the Taxi Driver and especially Deer Hunter, I was a lot disapointed with the latter, it was boring as hell. Whereas with Pacino I was never really disapointed, that's the difference for me.

Nope, I'm not a fan of those martial art movies, not the new ones at least. Enter The Dragon with Bruce Lee is awesome though. :D

Are they good?

Lets just im not really a big fan too,but he does muay thai & that shit is amazing.double knee kicks & elbow knocks are mind blowing, definitely something worth watching.

Go & see ong bak & the protector, although the voice-overs,acting & stories are shite the action makes up for all of that.;)

I've seen Ong-Bak in my videostore not long ago, the cover didn't intrigue me that much, though I will take you up on it and check it out. ;)

Dont blame u cause i saw it once & i just thaught "b-grade" movie, but its worth it.
I thought the same about Danny The Dog with Jet-Li, than I saw Morgan Freeman was in it and I said what the heck, it can't be that bad if Freeman is in it. I expected a Jet-Li typical non-stop, kung fu flying action, and it did start of that way but then the story developed, the movie slowed down and took a complete u-turn, ended up as a semi-drama. Great movie, check it out if you haven't seen it, also the music in it is greeeat (Massive Attack).
