I thought the same about Danny The Dog with Jet-Li, than I saw Morgan Freeman was in it and I said what the heck, it can't be that bad if Freeman is in it. I expected a Jet-Li typical non-stop, kung fu flying action, and it did start of that way but then the story developed, the movie slowed down and took a complete u-turn, ended up as a semi-drama. Great movie, check it out if you haven't seen it, also the music in it is greeeat (Massive Attack).
Seen it & i enjoyed it big time. What did u think of Mel Gibson's apocolyto?

Didn't see it and I'm not planning to, I don't like these Gibson's new movies, I promised myself I'm not gonna watch them. They seem overly commercialistic, especially The Passion, I don't know, I'm just not drawn to it in any way.. Though I think I could swallow watching Apocalypto.

I will man, though I'm busy lately, can't find the time and I can't MSN from work. Will catch up once.

Also, back to topic, yesterday I watched Blow with Johnny Depp, amazing performance and an amazing film. A must watch! Inspired by a true story of how George Jung introduced cocaine to America in the mid 70's. Also, Penelope Cruz is in it. :lick:

Thats a classic of note & its amazing to see his rise & fall during the movie.Another brilliant classic is Donnie Brasco, also with Johnny Depp & Al Pacino.Funny enough its also based on a true story.

Awesome movie indeed, Johnny Depp is an amazing actor. Personally I can put him right after the heavyweights Pacino, De Niro.

However I thought that Benicio was much better than Depp in Fear and Loathing
Your like the 5th person thats said that everytime I mention that movie.I must say that Benicio is one underrated actor & deserves more credit.

How crazy was Toby Macguire's hairdo in the movie?:D

I gotta watch this movie tonight. Apparently it has no cg effects and no stunt doubles. Tony Jaa is becoming the next Bruce Lee :pumpkin:

Monty Python's Life Of Brian - hilarious
Monty Python and The Holy Grail - funny as hell
Happy Feet - one of the better cartoons I have watched in a while
American Psycho - I was surprised, it was actually quite good
Cool Hand Luke - for the 5th time, amazing movie
Harsh Times - if you really have nothing better to watch
Papillon - a very good movie, Dustin Hoffman in one of his better roles
