actually, just the usual technical stuff, and violin showpieces. need to start on some new stuff. last night I was watching "the holiday" (which was horrendous) and one of the themes clearly steals the first 4 notes from Once upon a time in America, which was driving me nuts since the score wasn't nearly as good, predictably

I saw that movie for the first time about 5 years ago as an assignment for a Lit to Film course. I've seen it four time since.

Add Billy Wilder's genius to Raymond Chandler's proficiency and then you will have a masterpiece.
