Bourne gets better as the series progresses, until they did the 4th movie. The first 3 are awesome, and possibly get better one after the other.

The first Bourne was the best but i agree the sequels were not unnecessary and bad although the camera in one of them was shit and wanted to puke afterwards

Bond movies have been passè since Casino Royale. But God damn is the new one shit. Feel sorry for Craig this is how his tenure ends. Rami Malek is a good actor, but he had by far the worst bond villain role ever.

It was like he was larping as horror movie depiction of Michael Jackson.

Haven't watched it yet but I think 4 will be/is much worse than 2 and 3
1st one was legendary, a 9/10 movie, one of the top top action/sci fi movies ever. 2nd and 3rd were gradually worse, I'd say 7/10 and 6.5/10. 4h being a 5/10 (judging from the general reaction, haven't seen in yet) is just a logical continuation of that downward slope. :p speaking of the Wachowski's, Cloud Atlas was a good movie.

Man, I wanted to watch that movie like dozen of times, yet I never did lol.

Most Americans have moved on like last week’s meme or discredited it entirely based on the source.
Is it a bad source? Seems like a lot of facts were thrown in it.

The last two movies I enjoyed were I, Daniel Blake and The Straight Story.

I think Denzel Washington will be a fantastic choice to play Macbeth. And that singular casting choice isn’t so bad. I just find the interviews about how they had to fill a lot of the roles with black actors to show that Shakespeare belongs to them too, super cringe. Especially given that it’s a play about a Scottish king set in a time where zero black people lived in Scotland. Imagine a white guy saying this about a famous black playwright’s work though:

“When’s the last time you’ve seen it?” Hawkins asked. “The fact that we are here, says without saying, we have just as much ownership of [Shakespeare] as anybody else. So, the question is just, ‘Why not?’ We are capable. This language and this story belongs to us as well.”

Shakespeare doesn’t have to be racially accurate to be good. The cast looks pretty good, even if there were some extra motives for inclusiveness. From the trailers I’ve seen, it looks like it shows more like a play rather than cinema. So I’m interested to see how that is.

I don’t even disagree. Which is why I said Denzel Washington is a great choice. I think he actually suits the role, obviously not the historical setting and aspect, but as an actor certainly. I just find the cringe-y “Shakespeare belongs to us” comments about the casting quite amusing. There would be a lot of outrage if the shoe was on the other foot. “Wole Soyinka belongs to us” as a white version of The Lion and the Jewel is cast. Lol

Anyways, I’m curious to watch it too. It looks pretty good.
