Oh @Post Ironic forgot to ask, have you watched The Witch yet? I've heard some good things from people I trust. PLUS when you get most of today's people aka the superhero generation saying it's "boring" you know it's got to be good :D
I haven't. Looks very interesting though. I saw a short film by the director based on a Poe story several years ago... Was pretty good.

I'm hoping the rumours of him doing a remake of Nosferatu next are not true. Really don't want to see it remade again.

He's not so bad as I say. I watched Prometheus again a few weeks ago and it's far better than I remember it being. I'm actually looking forward to a sequel.

I don't know what to think of Bladerunner. Sometimes i think it's great, sometimes I dislike it. Never been a fan of Harrison Ford. I think he's a very mediocre actor. I do think the atmosphere is quite brilliant, the dark futuristic noir setting. Alongside the soundtrack it makes the film.

Be interesting to see how Villeneuve handles the aesthetic established by Scott.
I never got the hype about Blade Runner, thought it was average at best. And I love Harrison Ford, probably due to Star Wars/Indiana Jones roles. I think it suits him.

As for Prometheus  I liked it.

Yeah. For me, it's all about the atmosphere. Using cinematography, pacing, soundtrack, it gets that spot on imo. But, as a whole, I don't know whether I'm a fan or not.

@Fr3sh @JCK @Tommy @Sheik Yerbouti, I assume you all seen The harder they come reggae classic movie with Jimmy Cliff, but this is actually cooler, 6 years after Harder they come, this time its not one legend but a score of them in same movie :alen:

Rockers is a 1978 Jamaican film by Ted Bafaloukos. Several popular reggae artists star in the movie, including Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace, Burning Spear, Gregory Isaacs, Big Youth, Dillinger, and Jacob Miller.

Rockers was originally to be a documentary but blossomed into a full-length feature showing the reggae culture at its peak.

In this film, the culture, characters and mannerisms are authentic. The main rocker Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace, for example, is shown living with his actual wife and kids and in his own home. The recording studios shown are the famous Harry J Studios where many roots reggae artists recorded during the 70s including Bob Marley. Samples of the film's dialogue were used in the early 1990's jungle track, "Babylon" by Splash. The Jamaican Patois spoken throughout the film is rendered with English language subtitles for a foreign audience.

Whole movie is up in youtube watching it now a bit, so bizzare seeing Jacob Miller, Horsemouth Wallace, Gregory Isaacs, Burning Spear, U Roy etc in a full feature flick just chilling and fussing lol. Total vibes.
