 I used to be a little like you. Passionate about my hobbies and a bit hateful of mainstream. Not with movies though, with Music. As i mentioned in our Genesis talk, I used to collect 60's and 70's Psychedelic/Progressive Rock and my passion was obscure rock records of that time.

If they weren't all in boxes I'd care to take pictures. Some really rare gems i found from the most exquisite places you couldn't ever imagine such bands could come out of. I believe It's a similar passion you have with foreign unknown flicks and everything about them.
Passions like that are pretty great. It doesn't really matter what it's for, but I love when people are fierce about their passions. Especially in the arts.

Do you still collect records? Or mostly given up that hobby now? I'd love to see some photographs if you're ever rooting through that collection at random, so keep that in mind. And please do share recommendations in obscure rock records of that era any time. Would love to check it out.

I've been off-and-on collecting old-time folk music, and some early jazz, but a split-up with a long term girlfriend a few years back seriously emptied that music collection. I don't even have a record player to play 78s anymore. So mostly collecting a mix of rock, indie, punk, early hip hop, jazz, and bluegrass. Love the bluegrass.

I wish I could be a film dork again, barely been into movies in general past 3 years, the habit of sitting down to watch not been there as before (instead watch a lot of TV series or read for ze fictional fix) . Went from religiously seeing even Korean small screen gems, to not even bothering to see the hyped Oscar ones right now (took me a year to see grand Budapest Hotel, and I was looking forward to it even).
Dude. Get back into it. Tons of good recommendations pop up on here weekly from CK, Dule, Voller, and others. It's hard sometimes to make time for it, but some of the films out there are so worth it.

I've been watching movies for the last week trying to squeeze the last drops of laziness out of my vacations, any suggestions? I'm open, but I prefer psychological thrillers (or any other thriller), sci-fi, action, comedy, whatever :D HELP

I went to four different Universities for a half-dozen things, and never actually finished a degree. Film history was one of them. As was literature. Sometimes I wish I'd been able to focus on one thing and continue my studies, but I just don't do specification in an academic environment very well. I wanted to study everything.
I see. When I was a kid, I was so sure o wanted to study film and I wanted to be a critic when I grew up. :D Obviously ended up not going that route, but it was a fun dream.

Hmm not really. I still buy a casual record here and there but mostly because there isn't much new music that pleases me. Last i bought was Lonerism from Tame Impala.

Well, I don't know if you remember but i just moved and really won't go into the mess my garage looks like. But i found this, I always keep it separated as I think it'll cost quite some money 15-20 years from now. It's a special limited edition:

But when I did, even though my main target was 60's/70's music, I also have tons of 80's and 90's stuff. Everything from Post-punk, New wave to Trip Hop and Shoegazing.

Well, sure, why not. This is a personal favorite of mine. His name is Bo Hansson, he was a Swedish keyboard who released instrumental records in the early 70's. He's most known for his Lord of The Rings inspired record (which i highly recommend as well), but i chose this song from his 2nd record because it sums up what he was about. It has all the elements he played around with; Progressive Rock, Jazz, Folk, Bossa Nova/Latin, World Music, etc. I couldn't find it on youtube, so:
