Watched dallas buyers club and snowpiercer , totally deserved oscar for matthew , di caprio ain't got shit on him . As for snowpiercer , I found it great , one of the best movies of the year for me . Pretty much figured out what was happening around half of the movie , but still found it very interesting .

Agreed. The only reason for all of the high ratings of this movie is because it took 12 years to film this, following the boy since he was kid till he reaches puberty, and the critics jizzed off on that aspect. Its just another coming of age movie. Really not worth wasting 3 hours.
