Guardians of the Galaxy... How this movie has a higher rating than several many truly original classics is beyond me. This generation is completely rubbish. I lost faith on you kids.

Ok movie with the same super hero movie cliches.

It's a good movie, but it's way overhyped. It's one of the better comic book based films, but I think Batman Begins, The Dark Night, The Avengers, Cap America: The Winter Soldier & Spiderman 2 are all better. I'm sure I can come up with others that I liked better.

Apart from Nolan's Batman trilogy and Snyder's Watchmen, they're all subpar with a little better plot and better visuals than 80's and 90's superhero movies.

The last X-men was decent enough but they shouldn't be rated that high, there's nothing unique, creative or special about those movies.

But hey ANTMAN is coming... :sergio:

I like all the X-Men movies. Especially "Days of Future Past" and "First Class." I think those are better than GotG. I do think GotG is better than the first three X-Men movies, though.
Well I think that X-Men 1 and especially X2 are one of the best superhero movies. I am a fan of the serious-style movies as opposed with the "marvel-style" movies that add way too much comedy.

That's why I'm currently :tuttosport: :tuttosport: :tuttosport: for the DC Universe Cinematic Universe.

There are like 40 super hero movies on the way for the next 6 years or so. People will eventually get bored of it.
Just like people got sick of comic books?

Not going to happen. There will always be a market for this as long as their are young people and people who love Sci-Fi. :)

What I want Marvel to do is start making feature films for their villains. First up: A Loki stand alone film starring Tom Hiddleston. And keep him away from the Thor cast, have him go off on his own thing. :vidal:

Not enough, they should make more!

I personally enjoy this ambitious drive and willingness to put superhero stories on the big screen in bigger and better productions, mainly by Marvel.

Gone are the days when only on screen depictions for your superhero nostalgia was lois & Clark or incredibly campy and retarded efforts to reboot Batman with Van Kilmer or Clooney.
