Eh... If this movie was the best one of the year you really have to be disappointed. Seriously, any movie that's based on stunning visual effect and that has a shit story line is just plain stupid IMO. I don't regret watching it, but it was a disappointment. I don't think 3D effect would change that opinion by much because (unlike Avatar for example) this movie shows absolutely nothing.

It's the whole package. The sound and 3D really add to the claustrophobia of the film. Claustrophobia in the infinite space is a quite interesting thing. I didn't think the story line sucked, it's just not all that. Seriously though, it's a great cinema experience. Film-wise, it's decent.
