Haven't watched 21 jump street, I'll give it a shot

Don't expect a masterpiece, but I thought it was pretty good for a Hollywood film. My expectations were pretty low, and I was pleasantly surprised.

No, just getting to the conclusion that even though the two films have the same amount of positive reviews, the Scorsese film have love/hate reviews while Don Jon reviews are just a tad above average. And that love/hate film are usually much more exciting - even if you end up hating them. The Rotten Tomatoes number itself is hiding important information.

Which reviewers are your "top" reviewers?

I read those two I mentioned earlier, plus the guy who took over Ebert's column and a buddy of mine who reviews films out of Asheville, NC.
They generally give you an idea of what to expect without spoiling the plot.

That's usually how it goes. Though I've been reading a lot of the negative criticism coming toward Wolf is that it glorifies the content. Which when making a film about a real life douchebag, is bound to happen.

Really? I generally avoid Swedish films (in cinema atleast), even if Robert Gustavsson is a funny fucker.

Just got out from cinema 12 years a slave, holy hell what a movie... Very hard one to watch, great story, big props for the whole cast and production for making it happen. Ewitel ejifor and Fassbender in particular were amazing.
