but talent wise downey jr is the closest to bale imo
Downey Jr is probably the most overrated piece of sh!t out there. The only movie he has done which is of any significance is Chaplin, which was released in 1992! Wtf has he done for the past 21 years?! Sure, I liked Zodiac and few other of his movies, but the credit hardly goes to him alone for those movies.

Downey Jr. on the other hand is probably the most overrated actor right now, mostly because of the gazillion fangirls that his role as Tony Stark generated. I mean he became some kind of symbol of a "cool guy" in eyes of teenagers. I really like him, and he was fantastic in Tropic Thunder but he is not on the same level as Di Caprio, Norton, Pitt, Bale, Depp (in before someone rages about Depp) etc.
This.

It's not only you. Movies nowadays are shit and tv series offer far more entertainment.

What a stupid thing to say. Nobody is forcing you to watch one episode and shut down your TV.

There are more quality tv series compared to movies over the past couple of years.
Silly of you to comment witjout reading my post. People who stick exclusively to series do tend to have a shorter attention span. It doesnt matter if you watch an entire season in one sitting, every episode has its plot, conclusion and cliffhanger. Whereas watching a complicated movie can be more of a mental exercise

I do see your point. But watching movies is not a rocket science.

I never said movies suck, I only say that recently movies do suck. It's mostly movies for kids, exaggeration of super heroes movies that come out and remakes of old ones. On the other hand TV Series offered more quality watching.

It's not like I entirely disagree with you. I just diss the new movies.
