i'll check this out V thanks for recommending :beer: any titles you would recommend?
@Bisco
Thomas Vinterberg's films have the same raw realism as Tobias Lindholm's films (director of A Hijacking). While I feel Lindholm is amazing at showing brutal realism, I feel Vinterberg is also able to take his films to the next level. However, the interesting thing is that Lindholm started as a screenwriter and has co-written Vinterberg's two latest films "Submarino" and "Jagten", both great films. However, I would start with Vinterberg's Festen. It's a very gritty film with handheld cameras which adds to the realism, and the plot is merciless and stays with you afterwards. If you like Festen, then watch Submarino or Jagten. Jagten is almost an "opposite" Festen while Submarino is - if possible - even darker than the two other films.

Oh, and you should also check out Lindholm's directorial debut R.
