I watched the trailer earlier in the day and it looked properly good, will stream it tomorrow.

Watched Warrior again last night, such a fantastic movie. Nick Nolte's character in it always leaves me feeling a little sad though, kinda reminds me of every Irish father.

The Prestige was great but I was supporting Jackman so the ending left me a bit angry.

Still... Batman vs Wolverine using magic and shit.
lol I liked that movie a lot. Both Bale & Jackman were fantastic.

I have a mancrush on Jackman, so I was rooting for him, too. But Bale's character was very sympathetic as well. I just wanted them to hug it out.

 I really liked that movie. I like the atmosphere. The phone calls between Williams and Pachino. It could have been done better overall, but for what it is, I don't have many complaints.

The Place Beyond the Pines; good movie. Really liked how the story developed.

The Past; Started very well, could have been ended in a much better way. There happened to be lots of mazes and mysteries throughout the film which the director tried to solve in the last 15 minutes.

I grew to not like films of that genre. I'd avoid The Game btw :p

@Dule90, L.A. Confidential, Insomnia, Following, Mystic River. Not quite a mystery but check out American History X if you haven't already.
Horrible movie. Started out very good and a lot happens in the 1st 30 minutes then it just loses momentum and switches its focus a couple of times. Incredibly boring after the first 30 minutes. The plot isn't bad (though not believable) but is horribly executed imo. The "15 years later" was one of the worst transition moves i've ever seen. It felt like 3 movies in 1. The first was good, the second was cliche' and the 3rd was just poor.

    You liked it? @Dule90
I stopped watching after 1h and 15 minutes. My brother was bored to death and I can't really blame him. With that story I have no idea why that made that movie last for over 2 hours. I just finished it a couple of minutes ago. Last 25 minutes pretty much save the movie from being a disaster.

Did he really escape and make his family, or was that just a dream and what would have happened?

Overall I think it's decent. I don't mind long, even longer movies. But what I hated about it is being it too slow for no reason with that story. I'd give it 7/10 and that's only because ending was kinda good.
