you ddint like the movie? visually it looks pretty stunning. Oh and you will be happy to know i now like danes more than swedes :p i was diving with this danish family last week, cool people
even if the Danish contingent here doesn't seem too high on von Trier, I am planning to give Melancholia a shot as I quite liked another movie of his, Dogville. Actually, that's what attracted my attention to melancholia in the first place.

But first things first, gotta get me some popcorn :D

Just watched Paul T Anderson's debut film hard eight (Sydney) it has its moments, acting and directing was damn good, Phillip Baker is awesome,John C Reilly suprised me, he was real good. but the story could have been much better 7/10

Ive downloaded Magnolia, its supposed to be much better..

No, any good? I generally don't like swedish or Norwegian films, they feel phony (with few exceptions), but generally the Danish films I seen feel more authentic/natural.

Have you ever watched Blinkende Lygter?
How good is that one?

I just watched De grønne slagtere & Adams æbler by the same director and while they did have their moments, I can't say I really loved them. The apples one being the better of the two.

And Os, I don't think everyone has seen the Pusher films :D
Only saw the first one myself. They never really found an audience around these parts.

I absolutely loved Blinkende Lygter, but then again I really like Adams Æbler & De Grønne Slagtere. Would definitely rate Blinkende Lygter higher though. If you liked Pusher I, you should try to catch "I Kina Spiser De Hunde". I rate that one highest of all the DK movies I've watched.

Blinkede Lygter is, by far, the better film. I don't know if foreigners will get the humor, which is a big part of the movie. But I think they would like the serious parts of the it.

Submarino is a pretty good movie too.

For me its I Kina Spiser De Hunde, but I find it extra funny because lots of the Serbian gangsters in the movie are my dads friends - i get a kick out of seeing them all tough on camera :D
