I felt that they brought down the content too. To keep it in the teen demographic. Would have been a better movie with more gritt.
Also, I read that the company distributing Prometheus is thinking about editing to a PG-13 to gain a greater market share. Hopefully they don't do that.

And yeah Hunger Games would definitely elevated itself as a movie with possible R rating. But its mainly a survivalist drama, and IMO its succeeded in that.

It's not a part of the Aliens franchise. It was supposed to be a pre-quel, but Scott took it to a different direction. Though from the trailers, it looks like there is a bit of influence. I really hope they don't fuck it up, Scott said he thinks it's a hard R.
I assumed it was still pre-quel, I dont know enough about aliens lore/background to noticed difference. But yeah I'm heavily looking forward to that, Batman, and the kid in me wishest to see Avengers later this month the most.
Citizen X - a really good crime/psych thriller that went straight to TV w/o getting much publicity, iirc.
Watched it more than 10 yrs ago, rewatching it tonight. Highly recommended.
