I saw it. The Hunger Games. Mum wanted to have dinner out and see a movie. I honestly figured she would pick something else. However...
It's pretty good. Definitely looked toned down (sex and violence) for its demo, but an overall solid narrative, pacing, cinematography. Some good performances from Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Donald Sutherland, Stanley Tucci. Hard to make a bad film with that kind of supporting cast. Oh and Gary Ross directed. He made Pleasantville, and that's what's up.

Rewatched Das Experiment myself last night. It is indeed better than the US remake, but not by that much. A very flawed movie, all over the place in terms of style with many parts having a "made for tv" feel.
The 2 movies by the same director, that our favourite rossonero mentioned, are a lot better.
Last ones for me: Paul was a lot of fun. Better than expected & liked it more than Hot Fuzz. The Listening (Italy-US production) was all right. Could have been very good even, were it not for the iffy acting, especially the lead. Lake Dead was meh, but I've seen a lot worse in that genre. How Do You Know wasn't good either, even more so when you look at the people behind & in front of the camera, but how can you not love Reese Witherspoon? Faces in the Crowd was just terrible.
