I can understand if you didn't like it as much as others seem to have but it's definitely not a film you could dislike or to advise others to pass up

There are movies you cannot recommend to everyone but Amelie is a safe bet imo, probably noone's favorite but definitely a worthy watch.

it's a romcom that tries be artsy, but really it's kinda like man u, most of my disdain is directly caused by its fans here.

Lord Of War - Eh, decent, I'd give it 6.5-7/10. Best Cage's movie based on what, imdb rating? To me it's just a decent movie and that's about it. Both Con Air and The Rock are better movies in my books while even National Treasure is more entertaining.

But when you're talking about the "best Nic Cage" movie, I'd probably go with Adaptation or Raising Arizona.
