I'm finally seeing Wings of Desire. It's bloody brilliant. Human experience studies, Peter Falk as himself as an angel who came down to earth in the 1950s, color and black & white, deadpan acting, the last breaths of the Berlin Wall, and an angel who grabs a cup of coffee as the first thing he does in the "real world"...

It may lack the explosions and body count that a lot of you moviegoers come to depend on. But it's a sweet flick with great imagery that rolls like poetry.

Dangerous Liaisons. I thought it was kinda cool, Malkovich's character was quite interesting. It makes me think this must be more or less the way the French aristocracy really lived. The rich bastards who never did anything useful and had no real problems in life. :D

Btw Glenn Close is a weird name for a woman.

You lucky man: You have many of tge best films ever made still to watch.

I enjoyed In America very much, just like other Sheridan's movies. Apart from that, I haven't seen any other movie of that list.
Looking forward to reading your comments on them :D

But the same year alone offers:

Frankenstein
Dracula
Little Caesar
Monkey Business

And the very great

Seen M, didnt know it was same year, thought later. And dont know those early Dracula and Frankstein, those two cult stories have too many adaptions, but havent heard of these old ones.

En busca de la tumba de Cristo. What unbelievable garbage :howler: It's like a coca cola commercial version of a devotional movie. I also watched Beowulf and it was considerably better. :D
