Adventureland seemed like something like Superbad and I can't watch films like that without good babes.
I saw that, it's actually pretty good imo, not a teenage comedy as it seems at all, it's a teenage love story with some drama, worth seeing.

Adventureland - :hellyes:
Really good film. Not a lot of belly laughs, but it really made me smile. Amazing, honest portrayals by everyone involved, great soundtrack as well. At times, the combination of what's on screen & the underlying music is just perfect. My only complaint is the lack of screentime for the brilliant Kristen Wiig & Bill Hader.

This is the best RomCom I have seen in a long, long time. Check it out, V, if you haven't already :D
Very well said

I liked Bill Hader and Ryan Reynolds roles as well.

Well, I think it's directed by the guy who did Superbad. But it's an entirely different style imo, much more of a romance story rather than a laugh out loud comedy.
This movie really strikes a great balance between touching scenes & scenes that make you smile.

As for the babes, you may be right. Though I do think K Stewart is kinda cute.

Yep. Reynolds is almost always pretty good. The guy has great screen presence.

Luis Bunuel's Un chien andalou or in English An Andalusian Dog The opening scene was one of the sickest thing ive ever seen in a film. Thats all i have to say about it.
lol the title sounds like it's something Reynold de Chatillon would say.

do you mind giving me a brief idea about it? and.. worth seeing?

Well you can't judege a book by it's cover, so I'm definetly giving it a shot after you guys recommended it.

Yeah, the Stewart girl defo has something going on.

Agreed about Reynolds as well.

True, I like his acting since my childhood and "2 guys, a girl and a pizza place" if you remember that -he's good at comedy although he can do much better in drama- and he made a shallow comedy as "Just Friends" more interesting.

I remember very little about "2 guys...", probably saw only a handful of episodes, but I laughed my ass off with Just Friends. Comedies like that are a dime a dozen (don't go looking for an original idea), but that one really worked. Some hilarious moments.

Waiting, also with Reynolds, is another one of those surprisingly good & funny movies.

Anyone saw When in Rome? Don't look like much but I like a taste of Kristen Bell from time to time.

Buck, you're just full of suggestions today. Didn't see Waiting.

I'll put Waiting on my list as well!

I recommend these to anyone interested:

-Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind
-The Constant Gardener
-Fever Pitch (2005), didn't see the old one yet.
-Match Point
-Reality Bites

that is all for now, and they're all different in genre but definitely worth seeing.

did anyone see Robin Hood yet? not a big Russel Crowe fan but I honestly like his movies and acting a lot, and this one seems good

I thought Match Point sucked monkey balls :D
Really hated it.

Haven't seen Fever Pitch yet, but the others are fine movies.

It´s a coming of age movie, a pretty good one, with some amusing moments. The trailer sold it as a raucous comedy from the director of Superbad, but that was just marketing BS.

I saw The Constant Gardener and Lord Of War in cinema right after, those were 5-6 hours of pure enjoyment

It's not that I like Woody Allen or his works, but I thought this one was really well made, with fine attention to details
