Its a film about a black man that enjoys being a slave lol, disney has got a massive stable of racism, its even in Aladin which is from the 90s.
True that, Disney is the devil. Hidden anti-semitism and racism in animated film for the past century (with the exception of Bambi).

I don't mind racism in film if it has a part to play in the plot or theme of the film. Like Gran Torino for instance.

The black twin robots. The low comedy who were represented as stupid. I was horrified to see it.
That's racist? How can that be racist? Is it a rule that a minority must be portrayed as intelligent, skilled, charming and what not? Black twin robots...hmm, Jazz in part 1 was obviously a "black gangsta" Transformer, yet one of the coolest characters in a movie. No one had a problem with that, I guess that was OK.

If there's more annoying people than actual racists, it's over-righteous folk like you who see it in absolutely anything.

White men can't jump was the most racist film ever. It implied that all white people were disabled and unable to jump and blacks jumped all over them.

There has also been considerable negative reaction to the characters Mudflap and Skids, who are alleged to embody racist stereotypes. Manohla Dargis of The New York Times said that "the characters [...] indicate that minstrelsy remains as much in fashion in Hollywood as when, well, Jar Jar Binks was set loose by George Lucas".[106] Critic Scott Mendelson said "To say that these two are the most astonishingly racist caricatures that I've ever seen in a mainstream motion picture would be an understatement".[107] Harry Knowles, founder of Ain't It Cool News, went further, asking his readers "not to support this film" because "you'll be taking [your children] to see a film with the lowest forms of humor, stereotypes and racism around".[108]

You know what I would pay too see? One day Jasper is making his way in a cab driven by a Desi man to campus (who is obviously taking a long way on purpose) and on his way there he stops by to pick up his laundry from the laundry place run by a Chinese family, after, he makes his way to the bank where his Jewish accountant tells him he's broke as fuck cause he lost all his money in an Indian casino last night, and as if that's not enough he gets robbed by two black men when trying to catch another cab, he gets ran by an old Asian lady, while lying on the ground he gets robbed by another two black dudes... after coming back to his senses he calls his white lawyer.

You asked me what was shallow, i was explaining why it was shallow, as explained in the last sentence. That for me films should be studied like that and that not going that far into it is a shallow/superficial study.
No, I asked what was shallow, you started bragging about your education and superiority to understanding film more than the majority. I don't buy such crap. You either tell me what's shallow or just soap it. You are not the first to go to a university and learn a thing or two and you won't be the last. Characters like you I don't like and that's why this will be my absolute last comment/question/remark you'll hear from me.

Is this treat me like a stupid cunt week or something? Have you all forgotten how to read?

You asked me what was shallow.

I told you that his analyses was shallow, and then explained why it was shallow because of how i have been taught and how i am used to films being analysed, its not fucking difficult to understand is it?

dude, stop living in the 1970s world where experts could do no wrong. it is what lead the fugly and sprawling north american cities and it can damage any field of knowledge out there. plus, if you only took one moment, you'd realize that your academic and moral superiority, and the way you flaunt it, is no different that that of the most annoying religious person.

trust me, if someone knew exactly how to tell right from wrong, beautiful from ugly, shallow from insightful, life would be very boring.

i can tell you, almost everyone in the forum thinks their shit don't stink, but they don't call upon the town crier to announce it to the world

If i really wanted to brag about my academic achievements i would have done it about 3000 posts ago and i would have actually bragged, not just stated facts, on credentials i was being questioned on.

    Try harder.
