Yeah, I was struggling to find a better word. 
It's just trying to be as minimalistic and boiled down as possible that it almost ends up not showing anything at all. That's, of course, an exaggeration, but it's so hard to relate to. It's beautifully shot though.
And Gone Girl was great.
