I am watching 2012 on TV. It's a frigging hilarious cartoon.

My favorite line of the movie thus far:
"Come on, baby. Lift your big ass for Sasha!"

I think I need to start using that in strip bars.

Oh gawd... this movie couldn't be any worse.

Mr. Billionaire with the hots for 17-year-olds, Silvio Berlusconi, decides to stay in Rome and pray instead of bring his harem to the escape ships? :lol2:

And then massive Japanese tsunamis are actually noticed on the surface of the open ocean to capsize an ocean liner?

What kind of scientific and social assclown wrote this!

Well, I kinda liked The Day After Tomorrow. Obviously not a great piece of storytelling, but quite amusing.
2012 on the other hand, was a piece of crap. As much as I like Cusack & Peet (for obvious reasons).

And some of the best movies are indeed in black & white. Although I must admit that I didn't really care for them either when I was (a lot) younger.

Speaking of black & white pics: Watched the original Invasion of the Body Snatchers last night. Had some absolutely fantabulous moments, even if it wasn't entirely perfect. Surely a lot better than Bitch Slap, the last movie with pretty colours I watched. Which was terribly unfunny throughout, except for one scene.

The Next Three Days - Isn't it the worst feeling when you have your bag of chips and beer ready to watch some nice thriller, only to find out in the first 5/10 minutes that its a copycat. How disappointing! I'm sure people who have seen it, who don't know its a copy, would think its a decent flick. But if you haven't watched this yet, just do yourself a favour and watch the original, Pour Elle (Anything for Her), instead watching Russell Crowe's face.

Never Let Me Go, one of the most interesting movies i've ever seen. It is adapted from Kazuo Ishiguro's novel, the movie lead me to read it!

..***..
I had to say I thought his novel The Remains of the Day, good and showed great promise of a future great writer. After that, I have to say, I lost interest in his works.

Never Let Me Go - It was an OK movie. I thought they tried too hard to sympathize the audience with its sad story. The actors weren't very believable either. Although, Carey Mulligan did an excellent job in An Education.

The Company Men: Very good movie and the actors put in a decent performance. It was nice to see Kevin Costner after such a long time.
