It's not a bad pitch :D

Yesterday I watched a movie about a dog :sergio:
If you decide to take the plunge, don't blame me :p , but be sure to see the theatrical version as it is around 2h. I saw the DC and it was about 25 minutes longer, something I think wasn't necessary.

You and I really need to get back on track. :p

Training Day is an overrated, already seen a number of times, bad-cops action flick. The only reason people love it so much is because Denzel is a badass.
Your holiday has changed you. You're not the same guy anymore...

And what's not to love about Denzel being badass anyway.

At least tell us which one it was, Martin.

Meh, it wasn't the worst movie ever obviously, but it wasn't that good either:

- Clichés all over the place? Check
- Cringeworthy acting? Check
- Ridiculous / unintentionally funny dialogues? Check
- Extremely limited plot? Check

And you know I tend to "enjoy" a bad movie from time to time. So all this wouldn't even annoy me that much, if only that movie didn't take itself so damn serious.
:agree:

Mr. Nobody

If you love artsy-fartsy movies, it will blow you away. I didn't watch it in a good mood so I wasn't. Still, folks should give it a go, really original movie. Definitely stay away if you don't like slooooooooow paced drama. That means you, Martin. :p

Oh and Primal Fear>Training Day.
Take that back V.

Denzel is great, but Norton is probably my favorite new-gen actor. ;)

Oh I also watched Date Night. 'Twas OK
.

Yeah, yeah, that's how we all start. Soon enough, you'll find yourself trying to get in the mood for something else. :p

I don't know...there are tons, what's your experience with them? :D

Here you go, Freddy. Just pick something out of the list below. Or try Adventureland, that one's also romantic-ish.

If you don't like these, there's no point in watching others :D

Up is not boring
I guess I was just in the right mood to watch it.
And it had been a long time since I was this impressed with a Pixar movie. Wall-E was fine but nothing more (no repeat viewing for me), Ratatouille was only decent, Cars was disappointing, not a fan of Finding Nemo.

About the good recent romcoms. That's a tough question, man.

You've probably already seen Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which is probably the finest to come out recently.

Others I can think of & that were pretty enjoyable: Cashback ; Just Friends ; Knocked Up ; Spanglish ; Along Came Polly ; In Good Company ; Hitch ; The Last Kiss ; The Upside of Anger

Looks like the question didn't turn out to be that tough :D
