@ALC Cant be alone in getting Archer vibes from this :D (Considering Archer was spoofed on Bond and Man from Uncle tv series etc).
Yeah, it does remind me of Archer. :D Even the shots of the cars drifting at the beginning are very Archer.

There is a lack of drinking tho.

Watchmen :lol2: one of the rare movies that I actually hate. My eyes were bleeding while watching that pile of garbage. And I don't generally like anything that Zack Snyder made so I'm not even looking forward to his movies.

coz superman is a square with the simplistic dualistic ethics of an ISIS
Imo that makes him refreshing in the era of 10000 "deep" superheroes that are thrown at me. Come on guys youre fucking superheroes, don't act like you're Adrien Brody in The Pianist. Beat the bad guy in the loudest way possible that's why I came to see you besides being forced. Nolan's batman was torture except Batman Begins (I love origin stories)

Just saw 7 days in hell . It's as ridiculous as it looks in the trailer , samberg is his usual self while harrington does a great job in playing an idiot . Good for some laughs imho .

Haha yeah, there is no Pam/Krieger level of wtfness either (can you imagine if you made live action version of these characters? Holy hell), but more the cool spy stuff from Archer. Toungue in cheek buddy/competitor humour and more sleak spy wittiness it seems.

And yeah @Iceman its alot of fun, trailer looks way more fun then the 60s tv show was, and I enjoyed that quite a bit as a kid.

So there will be a movie about superman fighting batman? Why would they fight at all? And I'm not dissing batman but didn't superman sometime reversed the time flying around earth really fast? Batman shouldn't have a a slightest chance against superman.

Anyway, anyone got a recommendation of a similar movie like Grand Budapest hotel?
The reason why they fight is because Batman feels that someone like Superman who is virtually indestructible is far too dangerous an entity.

If Superman's Modus Operandi was to kill his enemies, or whomever he fought, then you are right. Batman shouldn't stand a chance. But Superman, at least the Superman that a lot of us grew up with, never killed his enemies. He would simply render them helpless, or banish them after defeating them.

Which made the moment when he killed General Zod in the last Superman movie all the more shocking.

And it is about damn time that DC got their act together.

I can't believe they took this long to even think of doing a Justice League on film

In the trailer Wayne tower is demolished in the fight Supes had with Zod, and Batman loses someone's he knows there so think. Plus seeing the civilian casualty in general. Goes bitter and and starts seeing Supes as some kind of demigod who doesn't care about humans. Imo Lex Luthor will probably have a role in manipulating Batman, directly or indirectly by shaping a propaganda image against Supes in media. That's allways been Lex M. O.

This is not the regular Batman we are seeing in this movie, it's the frank Miller Knights return one, where Batman is 20 years older, jaded, cold and lost bit of his humanity and warmth (little he had lol). So it's easier for him to go on a crusade and target someone he usually been in same side of. Not agree with world view or thinking, and far far from friends, more like reluctant allies. But in general this storyline explains the extreme by the questionable narrative that is manipulated by Lex about Supes. And Batman becomes more extreme and fanatic to the point Alfred questions him.
