    {But what our scientist does not realize is that every time he makes a measurement, the Flying Spaghetti Monster is there changing the results with His Noodly Appendage. We have numerous texts that describe in detail how this can be possible and the reasons why He does this. He is of course invisible and can pass through normal matter with ease.}

Blue, It still implies insanity for people who doesnt agree with it, you should of put it in another way.

Blue2, Muhammad told others to write it down for him, were they Angels? Or Allah himself? If no, then man did write the Quran, maybe God was talking through Muhammad but technicly man did write it down on paper.

Im all for religion, even though im not a believer myself i think its a great natural valium.

Peace, no more religious discussions for me.:)
No they weren't angels. I said that the words were from God, not that he wrote it. Also, I know some didn't understand my quote so I explained it, I dono if you caught it.
    Here:

Some people have misunderstood what I meant here. I, in no way, was saying that those who are not Muslims, are insane. I, in no way, making an assumption or attacking the Bible. I, myself am a believer of The Book (Qur'an, Torah, Bible). Correct me if I'm wrong someone, but isn't a fact, that the bible was not revealed by God and that it was written by men. I in my entire life have never met a christian who has denied that. If I'm wrong, I apologize, but I am 99% sure.

Lastly, I was originally going to put in brackets "imo", but forgot to. So this is not an attack on anyone.

    Grazie ;)
Red. There is nothing you could teach me about Islam becuase i have many Arab friends and they have tried to convert me many times by forcing me to read the Quran.
I seriously doubt you know everything about Islam, even I don't know everything. I don't know about your Arab friends so I don't know how they approached you with this, and I am against forcing anything on anyone. But I still say that if you haven't read it, than don't say anything about it.

About my disrespectful post, once again i apologize, Its very disrespctful to talk about a prophet in such manner. I was just pissed off and i didnt mean half of what i said.
    no prob.

Seven requested me to post this:

    "Dear Zlatan,

I don't know why you felt it was necessary to ban me. If it was because I stated following a religion, i.e. believing in something that is written down by man, is something that is rather stupid to do, you were not in the position to ban me. You even said yourself all religions are wrong. Something which is far more provocative and less well argumentated than what I said, I might add.

If it was because I stated I could very well be God and axlrose couldn't prove the opposite, I don't know why I'm banned. Because I didn't see you prove I'm not God. If it's because my posts are considered intolerant towards christians and muslims, you might want to know that some of those apparently more tolerant people have said things along the lines of: "any sane man who read the Qu'ran can only acknowledge it's true". I say "stupid" they say "mentally ill". What's the worst?

And if you do ban me, please be so kind to point out all the reasons why I'm banned, where I commited my errors and what exact words I shouldn't have said. Please enlighten me as to why I can't say christianity and islam are far fetched and unlikely. I know you're not allowed to have a discussion about religion on the forum anyway, but then you'll have to ban everyone who took part, Zlatty. If you're banning me because I opposed some religions and used some harsh words, I ask you to ban the opposite party as well. I'd like Zé Tahir banned to begin with. No, it looks as if I wasn't allowed freedom of speach. Everyone else was, but Seven wasn't. Swag supported me, yet there was no comment. Bürke was saying the same things I was, yet no reaction.

If you banned me for personal reasons, which is obviously the case, I can only applaud that. Good for you Zlatan, I salute you. You finally had the courage to ban me without a sufficient reason. You had your personal vendetta, you can go on with your life now. Too bad you're still gay though."
First of all, stop whining each time you get banned.

    2nd:

I think it's funny how you feel it's offending to you when people say they believe in God. I haven't seen a single person call an athiest here an idiot or anything else for NOT believing. Yet you have repeatedly used insult to redicule those who do believe in God. Who's the one that should be offended?? Don't be stupid, you know you're not offended; there's nothing to be offended about!

3rd: I did explain what I meant by what I said, and if you're interested go back and read it; hope it calms you down. And btw you misquoted me! I know you don't like to be misquoted so don't misquote me.

Please enlighten me as to why I can't say christianity and islam are far fetched
Tell me how that adds any argument to your side? This is why these threads turn ugly, because of statements like these. If you wan't to discuss things, why not come with valid arguments rather than statements such as those. You know a response to such a statement will be a bad one and will not get you anywhere. Burke's first post of the thread, had valid questions, and he was responded with respect. You on the other hand started a crusade against religion and God, with no arguments what so ever. I think you like to argue and create drama, Drama boy ;)

I know, and that is my point. If God didnt write the Quran there is no logical reason to believe they are Allahs words, the only reason to believe they were in fact Allahs words are that of faith. Conclusion, im a sane man and i disagree. Youre a sane man and you agree. Nothing wrong with that, and yes, i realize you cannot agree to what im saying without somehow denying Allah so this discussion becomes pointless and i will leave it at that.

I dont know everything about the Quran, there is too many different interpretations of it for me to know them all, what im saying is that i doubt you could teach me much more then i already know. Ive read it twice, more then enough for me to comprehend.

Of course, they didnt force me, thats just an overstatement. When a pretty woman looks at you with sad puppy dog eyes asking you too read it, i admit, im a sucker for love.:eyebrows:

For me religion is a crock of shit. No offense to anyone intended. I think having faith in something more than yourself is a good thing. But needing someone to tell you why you have faith and take your money to prove that you still have it is ridiculous. And on top of that religion makes you look at someone and say "Im better than that guy because he isnt my religion" even if the guy still worships the same god as you. Take for instance Muslims v. Christians. Koran and Bible are very similar but differ in certain instances. Both religions worship the same god but differ in the idea of which prophets are cooler. Yet this is enough have wars over? You could say the same thing with Catholics and Protestants in N Ireland. Minor differences, yet enough for war. Here in the states if youre not a certain religion the "liberal media" such as Bill O'Rielly, Anne Coulter, and Rusch Limbaugh deem you a traitor to the American people. (None of them are liberal, all three are Americanadists. They claim there is a liberal media slant in the states which doesnt exist. ) If you say happy holidays to include other religions youre deemed the same thing. Those are my reasons why religion doesnt pay off for me.
