the simple fact is that you canot prove God' existence, just like you cannot prove that he does NOT exist.you cannot prove that a particular religion is correct, just like you cannot prove that a particular religion is incorrect.
it all comes down to which side of the fence you want to be,and thats it.you cant call yourside of the fence better than the other side of the fence simply because you're not standing there.its a matter of faith, and it cannot be proved wrong or correct by any means.and swearing at another person's beliefs or the God,prophet and book that he follows is about as ignorant as you can get -it only shows that you have a weak argument and that is why you have to refrain to swearing to get your point through.

Oh really? how do you figure that? thats very insulting, so basicly what you are saying is that anybody who doesnt belive Islam to be the true religion of God must be insane. Its right there in your post, in plain english.

FYI, The Quran is a cheap knock off of the Bible with some slight alterations. It even suggests that Judaism and Christianity is the word of Allah but that Islam is the final revelation. I wonder if Mohamed was to lazy to come up with some shit off his own. Maybe he just decided it was too much work so it would be better to try and steal followers from other religions.

Either way, believe what ever you want if it gives you comfort and helps you thru life, nothing wrong with that, but dont come here and suggest people are insane if they dont acknowlege Islam to be the one and only true religion.
Ze Tahir did not say that anybody who is not moslem is insane. Islam say´s that people, who do not belive in god and Islam are wrong.
Islam say´s that Islam is the finishing of relligions sent from God. so it must be obvious that the main content is the same as in the Bible.

It is violatind (Inuring), and not objektive to say such a shit about a relligion of so many people in the world:

Ze Tahir did not say anything like this and his posts have been objektive and he tried to make the view of Islam clear for all of us. The Prophet "Mohammed" is very respected by moslems, and we all should respect other peoples relligions here.

Please, just read between the lines, no matter which way you phrase it his post suggest that i am not sane if i do not believe the words of the Quran are straight from God. Why would he chose to put it that way? "Any sane man who has read it, cant deny that."

That pissed me off, and i have the right to be pissed! I am not a religious man but that post was very provakative. He should keep that to himself.

About my disrespectful post towards the prophet Mohamed, you are right, i shouldnt of written that and i apoligize for insulting you and anybody else that took offence. Some things are better to keep for yourself, i was just pissed and my post doesnt reflect my view on Islam its just some things ive been pondering.

You know what religion needs? Mergers.

I'd like to be religious but which one am I going to pick? They all claim to be the only true religion... It makes very little sense to me. I'd like to have some pension guarantees here and whilst we're on the subject: how are the salary and working conditions? Is there a strict hierarchy or do I get to question decisions?

Religion IS merges!
Look at christianity and the jewish believes. As the greek mythology travelled trough time and a few 100 kilometers into Roman mythology. Then it travelled another hundred years and became Nordic Mythology. But hey..., what do I know.

Chill and remeba dat religion is a batty fin. :D

I recievied this in my email and found i quite interesting...have a look

Very interesting findings of Dr. Tariq Al Swaidan
might grasp your attention:
Dr.Tarig Al Swaidan discovered some verses in the Holy Qur'an That mention one thing is equal to another,

i.e. men are equal to women.
Although this makes sense grammatically, the astonishing fact is that the number of times the word man appears in the Holy Qur'an is 24 and number of times the word

woman appears is also 24,

therefore not only is this phrase correct in
the grammatical sense but also true mathematically,

i.e. 24 = 24.
Upon further analysis of various verses,

he discovered that this is consistent throughout the whole

Holy Qur'an where it says one thing is like another.

See below for astonishing result of
the words mentioned number of times in Arabic

Holy Qur'an
Dunia (one name for life) 115 .

Aakhirat (one name for the life after this world) 115

Malaika (Angels) 88 . Shayteen (Satan) 88

Life 145 ...... Death 145

Benefit 50 . Corrupt 50

People 50 .. Messengers 50

Eblees (king of devils) 11 . Seek refuge from Eblees 11

Museebah (calamity) 75 . Thanks ! 75

Spending (Sadaqah) 73 . Satisfaction 73

People who are mislead 17 .D Dead people 17

Muslimeen 41 .J Jihad 41

Gold 8 .E Easy life 8

Magic 60 .F Fitnah (dissuasion, misleading) ! 60

Zakat (Taxes Muslims pay to the poor) 32< B> ....

Barakah (Increasing or blessings of wealth) 32

Mind 49 .N Noor 49

Tongue 25 .S Sermon 25

Desite 8 .F Fear 8

Speaking publicly 18 .P Publicising 18

Hardship 114 .... Patience 114

Muhammed 4 .S Sharee'ah (Muhammed's teachings) 4

Man 24 . Woman 24

And amazingly enough have a look how many times
the following words appear:

Salat(prayer) 5 , Month 12 , Day 365 ,

Sea 32 , Land 13
Sea + land = 32 +13 = 45
Sea = 32/45*100q.=71.11111111%
Land = 13/45*100 = 28.88888889%
Sea + land 100.00%
Modern science has only recently proven that the water covers

71.111% of the
earth, while the land covers 28.889%.
Is this a coincidence? Question is that
Who taught Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) all this?

Makes you think doesnt it?

You mean like the shampoo section in the supermarket? This one has vitamin K4-27/S2. This one has aloe extracts. This one is fruitier. This one is gentler. You could even wash you hair with all 4 of them but people rarely have that kind of determination.

OMG what a load of crock. All it proves is that a person with OCD (or a lawyer) proofread the text carefully. As far as equals are concerned. The rest of the "wisdom" is just inferred from selective search for numbers. Have you seen "Beautiful mind"? If not, go see it. Of course any text COULD have hidden patterns and messages but just because you can concoct something out of it, doesn't mean it was purposefully put in there. Hell, open the phonebook and you can find an endless amounts of enticing patterns, doesn't mean shit.

While we're at it, so much for poetry.

Oh it's not spontaneous. Ignorant perhaps, although I would contend that.

If you see a car with a licence plate "AS 31415", do you believe that the automobile agency picked this car to represent the number pi? No, it's just a coincidence. If the Old Testament printed in Times New Roman 12 points font on A4 paper is 365 pages, does that mean people over 2000 years (I don't even remember how the text was conceived) ago knew about the Gregorian calendar before it was invented? No, it's a coincidence. If I say "black and white are contrasting colors", does that mean I'm racist toward Chinese people who are neither black nor white? No, it has nothing to do with it.

What you're talking about here is numerology, which I think is an utter waste of time.

Convincing yourself that the Quran has special patterns that represent something is just based on your wanting to believe that, it doesn't make it true.

I agree with the post.

Both the bible and the Quoran were written by man.

And who are u?? a Divine god brought down from the heavens above to shed your wisdom upon mankind...

People either have a constructive argument with actual facts ( none of this "this is what i think bullshit") and history or close this thread because this is a very touchy subject and can get very offensive...

I have allways been a great admirer of the science behind numerology , it is quite facinating but,Its not about truth or falsehoods martin....and its not even about coincidence or Numerolgy....the main point to this is that why would a book that is several hundred years old be this accurate??? How could any man be this knowledable of the future and be able to forcast so many things...it could have only been another being (that is my opinion) if u can find other books that are this accurate please share them with us i would really like to look in to them

Where would the world be today without Google and Wikipedia??;)

By the highlighted sentence, you imply that you believe that those numbers are a message. I completely reject that notion.

Which is where I'm confused.
thanx, that's the answer.this been said thousands times, you can't judge the whole religion on people's action, don't judge on what Pope says about it,don't judge it on what churches says about it.I myself I don't give a damn what Popes or any of them keep saying, there is a book and I myself am able to understand it alone. why should I listen to them??

I see everyone claiming bible is this bible is that,I wonder how many of you actually read it.while people claim and ask this." did you read Quraan?it's the best religion" well,I don't like the religion that like to see women covered in a bag, that woman shouldn't work, like woman is slave or something.I don't like the religion that mentions holly wars or supports and kind of violence.I don't like the religion that says the woman should be beaten or be killed,if she was betraying her husband with another one.and I don't think something of these is written by God..

while I like the religion that teaches peace and forgivness, that teaches you to choose your life with freedom, unlike the others that if you do something wrong,it says you should be punished by humans,my religion is against judging,it teaches you not to judge other people,it teaches you to look at the mirror first..
now tell me,why is this religion is being bashed,If you don't belive that God exists or not,or Jesus is son of God or not, that's something different, that's faith, but don't come to me and say that Bible is not a good book,no it is a great book,it has great messages.you don't have to belive or agree everything is written there, because sometimes it is nearly imposible to understand it,well that's God,we can't understand him with our limited logic.

one question, do you count the those words yourself? anybody verified that?
men are equal to women? is that true? because one of major religion that discriminate women most is Islam.AFAIK.

Modern science has only recently proven that the water covers
71.111% of the earth, while the land covers 28.889%.

While current day Earth is about 30 percent land to 70 percent water, these ancient geographies are about 22 percent land and 78 percent water.

so? those comparison only valid in modern age?

Oh help me Rhonda. Since I'm not religious, I can't give you a one for one answer but I have this text book about calculus and I deeply believe all the information in there to be true. But I don't believe there is a connnection between the page number on page 8 to be related to the fact that the number of characters on page 8 is 256, a multiple of 8, which in itself is the length of the word "calculus", because that is just "wisdom" taken out of thin air.
