he did make things happen, especially on our equalizing goal, but that statement is oversimplified. Matri still had work to do when it came to scoring those goals, and like Huiztchopoicitil? Yep. The way I see it, both of them really proved their worth tonight, but Matri even more so. There's no denying that Mirko did very well after coming on and made things happen in attack, but Matri was even more efficient. It's just lovely that we can throw on two players like this when we're in trouble.

Both of them should start, though, in my opinion, but I'm really starting to like Gio's contributions as well. So there's quite the selection headache now, for Conte. But that's a good thing.

For me its pretty clear that this team needs vucinic to begin with, and then quag or matri depending who is in form.

like today, if we'd play 3-5-2 vucinic-matri would be the way. bring on gio and switch 2-3-2-3 like we did today if we face a bunker

Not taking anything away from Vuci's impact, but FFS, we were 1 down, couldnt SCORE FOR SHIT, and within 20-15 minutes Matri scores twice when no one else could do fuck all in that regard, this is one night to ease the fuck off Matri dude, did ze biz for us tonight, and deserves credit, alot of it, nothing else to it, striker striking in two goals. Its like trying to belittle Trezegols pat heroics for us just because he scored, didnt create or build up the plays like Ale, Pavel etc.


And honestly, stfu with the its easy to poach, if anything this team, and this season (and last) has taught us that its far from easy, especially for likes of Matri who usually miss alot.
