Win: possible (even without DP).
Easily: No way

as you said. "stupidity" is the last thing we need.

besides not making silly mistakes, the most important thing is for juve to show heart and motivation. Like how Nedved played against Inter. Juve are nothing when they dont put their heary in the game.

we need to show some urgency (inlike the manU defeat!, where we looked like were sleep-walking! and lost). but still be calm enough to not make silly mistakes.

If juve become tooo urgent, juve will lose and crash out of the CL as they have against Panathainakos a couple of seasons ago.

Whatever we do our defenders must be able to handle most attacks with ease, and our attack must make monkeys out of their defenders.....

The key is midfield.

You know what I think personally, I think if the Italian teams help each other out in Europe, they could make an all-italian semi-finals. Surely we can learn something from other italian teams' experiences against Depor. What italian team did depor play in the first round? If any? Italy really needs to win this CL this year. We need to compose ourselves to our own style of play. The players need confidence in their own capabilities. We have so much quality, we just need composure.

"Alessandro Del Piero cannot make his comeback against Deportivo La Coruna as he has been struck by the flu virus."

Lippi's comments about Del Piero in the press conference after Udinese's match

So a draw will do unless Basel beat Manchester United. Which is not so unlikely if the latter send their youngsters to finish the job, seeing as Man Utd are already certain of the quarter finals!

Let's face it, people, Alex making a comeback for the Depor may or may not have had a big impact on the game, he can be quite anonymous at times, most notably returning from injury.

So just concentrate, don't concede early as we have so often, and see it through. Even a draw is worth something here.

Man United will not lose or draw to basel at old trafford. Even with some youngsters, I reckon they will have enough about them to win. However Depor at the riazor in the last match I can see depor winning. That means that we have to beat depor and get a point at basel to be sure

The 1st goal is extremely important to us, we've only won one (1!) game this season after conceding the first goal (2002-11-13 CL 1st groupstage Dynamo 1-2 Juventus).

thats not a stat that I want to see in existence much longer, its very worrying for a club of our stature really. Nevertheless, I am still optimistic we will qualify for the quarters at depor's expense.

and thanks for the wednesday thing!
