Many would take it, but would it be considered a failure of the coach (and of the management)?

I think so. There's no excuse to lose the title at this point.

Most members would probably take that.

I'm not sure if I would take it. If it was another team maybe, but not inter.

It would suck but also think about the reverse. Inter pulls off a miracle of a season only to have the press all go to Juve right after with the CL win. Conte would be pissed as well. In the end we shouldnt lose the league and I think Inter will continue to drop points. We just need to get more clinical in our play and stay healthy.

I'm not talking about the satisfaction of that happening, I'm talking about whether it should count as a failure. I say yes.

Anyway, I do feel there's a good chance of us losing the league. But winning the CL, not so much.

I think we’d all take it, because we’re all rather desperate for European glory at this point, but it would certainly leave a bitter taste in the mouth. Finally winning in Europe again and choking away Serie A. Even worse if Inter.

Yeah a league would be a failure. CL would be a massive win. Id say net positive but thats up to the fan. I think the board would take it in a heartbeat

In every year since 2015 i said the same thing "The year that we will win champions league we will lost Serie A"

It may happen this season but i don't think we will lose it to Inter

and i will be very happy if we win champions league and i accept even the 3rd place in serie A if it happens

The next question would then be, do we continue with Sarri in such a scenario?

It wouldn't bode well for the next season's ambitions if we lost the title.
You probably have to continue with him as CL is such a big deal for this club... but I think the league title becomes mandatory for the next season.

What if we win CL, lose the league title to Inter, and lose Coppa Italia embarrassingly time Inter in the final?

Is that too much to handle, even with winning CL? Losing both domestic competitions directly to Inter?

Losing the title after such a long spell of dominance, having a vastly superior team, with a coach on his first season at the club who has never won a league title before... would be a sign to me that we probably could lose it again the next year. The Scudetto is always the primary objective after all.

Would be harsh to sack him after a CL win, but the risk of not winning anything the next season would be high.

As for your scenario, yes, a disaster.

i say sack Sarri regardless. he's crap and this team can do better.
We were better last year with Allegri? Sorry i don't believe we can do better with that kind of midfield and the only manager that i prefer than Sarri atm is Zidane

If its available in the summer we can talk about it.

I don't think that switching manager's mid season is something a serious club as ours will do. and i found it a terrible idea.

Just no. We have the best team in the league, the best depth by far. There is not a single reason why we shouldn't win the league. We don't have to give up on one to win the other.
