obsessing over the CL is dumb, it should be a key goal, but CL or bust is a stupid mentality.

its an elimination tournament. You can be the best team and still get knocked out by one bad game, shitty call, one mistake from usually reliable veteran. You can do everything right and still get knocked out. Viewing it as the key metric to success is flawed

Denial is fine, but CL obsessed we are, more so as fans than as a club. Obsession might be a strong word but If you put out a poll of what anyone would want more this season, other than breaking their next door neighbours face, CL would top it hands down.

She has like 4 chins.

It would take an insane amount of force to make her feel something through her fat tissue.

Maybe GordoDeAhab would be able to do it.

Just imagine Conte and Beppe lifting the scudetto with Inter. That should help.
I have a morbid curiosity to see reactions if they won scudetto and beat us in Coppa Italia final, for a domestic double in the year we finally win CL...

I can’t imagine anyone being entirely happy with this scenario. Finally best in Europe again after 25 years, and lose both domestic competitions to our most hated rival who have a far weaker squad. Gah. Vomit-worthy to even consider.

If we wanted to play more attractive football than Gasperini would have been great. (I know someone will mention his inter days where he failed). Atalanta this year have one of the best attacks in Europe. With over 20 shots PG, and 57 goals score, City has 65 with 3 more games.

When you look at the whole picture though, we get two or so good purchases and we'd walk to the scudetto again the next year. Just based on that, I might be "ok" with this scenario.

Every year for the past +20 years Im telling myself: maybe this will be the year we finally go all the way. I wouldnt care how, we can get outplayed by every team and scrape wins by pure luck. So I wouldnt care much for Serie A and inter if this is The year for us. Id take solace in being the best European team.

 @ anyone who would not take CL win over anything else. It's literally all that matters right now.
I don't think anyone said that but those who mentioned losing the scudetto to inter said that winning the CL would have a bitter sweet taste but go on and continue interpreting posts the way you like. That's the second I catch from you in the past two days.

Nah. The club as a whole is obsessed with it. If that wasn't the case, Ronaldo wouldn't be here. You could even argue we wouldn't have signed Higuain back in the day.
