Great game Sarri. You have surprised yourself and us and shown that Dygualdo trident work.

Now please try and make Pjanedescbiot midfield trident work. That way I can erase the painful memories of Khedira Can and Matuidi playing first team football for Juve.

Regards,
Fam

Remember when we played with 4 attackers at once under our defensive coward coach?
The number of theoretical attackers on the pitch does not equate to a team playing attacking football.

Mourinho used to park the bus with Mata, Rashford, Sanchez, and Lukaku all starting. That was a lineup with four attackers on paper.

I remember the game against Tottenham at home (we drew 2-2). We had Higuain, Mandzukic, Bernardeschi and Costa all starting. That’s four attackers on paper. We spent the entire game pinned in our own, half defending for our lives.

The Real Madrid side that battered us in Cardiff only had two attackers on the pitch (CR and Benzema). However, they had four midfielders on the pitch that completely owned ours.

More forwards = more attacking football is such a simplistic and plain false view.

We played with Sturaro and Lemina as attackers at some point to:p
Only in Italy, you can play with two hard working LM/RM, with two blocks of four when defending and call it playing with 4 attackers.
I suppose Capello’s 4-4-2 with Camoranesi and Nedved, was playing with 4 attackers to.
Italian coaches wont play an attacker if he cant defend :p

Yes a RB/RM/RW as Cuadrado knowned for his condition and defensive contribution can be played a bit further up the pitch in a 4-4-2/ 4-2-3-1 and be called an attacker. My mind is blown away.
And as the player is moved a "bit" further up the pitch the role changes as do the requirements on what is expected of the player.
You completely missed his point.
The point that we have an attacking right-back, like we've had for a couple of seasons now?

I'd almost pay to see an in depth discussion between Brutto, dai & s4tch on some deep topic.
Hello popcorn man, feelings hurt again? I'd almost pay to see you survive a discussion on a simple topic without reverting to ad hominem's.

Indeedo. Makes as much sense as "what happened in last season's fixture" analysis.
