what dont you get about the difference between possession in the middle and a backline.

dude even chiellini can survive with the ball as a defender but chiellini in midfield would come with an NC17 rating.
Chiellini is a bruiser, a brute, the colossus of swat. He is a power hitter and makes up for it.

Matuidi is like that speedy little lead off hitter you need for attack not defense.

You should worry less about matuidi at LB and worry more about how we are one Costa injury away from going back to 4312 and ruining ly 433 dreams

Sarrismo in 2020
5 games,
5 wins
15 goals scored
3 conceded
2 cleansheets
We are in really good form right now and getting healthy in some key areas. I have super high hopes as long as MDL and Bonucci stay healthy. Ramsey and Costa being back has helped a ton as well as Bentancur and Rabiot being featured much more. This team is starting to gain balance and the lethalness is coming in the final 3rd. Ronaldo is confident and looks unstoppable right now. Id hate to have to coach against him

Things are looking bright, but we're facing a supertough stretch in the next two months. If we're still in a good place in Serie A and CL when March ends and the team is healthy and in a good form, thats when I'll start to have super high hopes :D

Yeah its always going to be hard in theory but we are getting healthy and scoring. Most of our poor performance was due to having no link in play IMO. Now Ramsey and Costa are back and we have balance and are lethal. But our backline is banged up so we are on the cusp of another injury crisis. Whenever Ronaldo is playing this way not many teams can compete with us. Lyon will have no chance and teams besides Inter cant compete with us either IMO.

Lol at the comments after Parma/before Roma game. Anti Sorries always band and beat their drums in distress after a narrow win and then disappear after another good win. Zero future orientation
Yeh . Practically this.

Only blind sheeps would not see what was going on in the last 2 years of allegris tenure.
They're always 2-3 yrs late, give them time

Hydde  What a great friend and ally you have found :baus:

What angers me the most about fans of Smokerizio O'Blacklung is that they are never factual and prefer discussions based on feelings and impressions rather than stats and results.

Stats? I havnt heard one anti sarri person say we arent winning enough. Its all about how we look while half our team was injured. Mad that Berna played when the two players in front of him were hurt. Mad that our defense leaked after forcing MDL in after our captain went down. Now our attack is healthy we look great but those "stats" you have say it all I guess

Even biggest Sarri’s skeptics are happy what he has achieved so far. On top of the table 4 points ahead of inter, top of chl group with record points and semi final in coppa. Sarri’s Juve is starting to look even better in 2020. Hope he can keep all players happy (except for few who i dont wanna mention their names).

He needed time. Just like any big position in the world, you cannot expect instant success.

I just hope he will do the same thing with Matuidi, that he did with Bernadeschi, permanent place on the bench. Then hopefully kick him out of the club next summer. There is simply no place for a midfielder like Matuidi in a team aspiring to win CL.

It seems every team needs a scapegoat, even successful ones. Now that Khedira isn't playing anymore it is Matuidi's turn.
tuz indeed a weird place. What the hell happened if scapegoat needed already? I mean, we might need to order additional pack of scapegoats, because we def will run out of them at this rate.
