The funny part is bringing up the CL finals like it’s some sort of great achievement to lose. We lost. Nobody remember 2nd places. I’m surprised he didn’t bring 3-0 against Barcelona. @Lion
yeah reaching CL final is not an achievmenet for a club like juve. for napoli it would be. for benfica it would be.

for biggest club in league in one of the top 4 leagues it would not be. you either win or you don't

I disagree. Juventus had been awful in Europe since Lippi's run in 2003. In fact, only 2 managers in history have won the CL with Juventus. We don't have the history of Say Real Madrid, Liverpool, AC Milan, Bayern in Europe.

Also, the season before Allegri's first run we were knocked out of the group stage and then humiliated in the EL. Allegri changed this and made Juventus a contender in Europe. We beat a very good Real Madrid side in 2015 (I personally think was a better achievement than Barcelona in 2017). Compare that to circus under Conte when we buckled under pressure in 2014 against Real. We also beat Man City home and away in 2016 and then Tottenham in 2018, when historically we have been weak against epl teams due to their pace.

I'm not saying Allegri should stay, he's clearly dated as a manager but please don't try and re-write history.

Second place and losing finals is shit.
When did you become so boring and tedious? This is Pavluska level posting lol

Man it sucks we were not fortunate enough to play a CL final against Tottenham, but against two of the best teams of the game. Idk why anyone would play down those CL runs.
Juventus apparently been shit since 1996. Lippi had two good years and then was shit according to Stevie, I guess. He managed to lose finals to 3rd place in Bundesliga Dortmund, 4th place in La Liga Madrid, and 3rd place in Serie A Milan. So I guess he must have been really “shit” according to Stevie. :lol3:

I just don't look back fondly on them finals.

2003 was different, we deseved to win that year. We would of won if Nedved didn't miss the final and then conte hit the crossbar in extra time.

In 2015 we were close and possibly deserved better, maybe could of won if Chiellii was fit but we were humiliated in cardif.

Bare in mind that Real Madrid team was arguably the GOAT of club teams. It had won 4 of the 5 cls between 2014-2018. And the one time they didn't win it was because Juventus knocked them out. Juventus was literally one of the best teams in Europe back then and we were doing well.

The teams were never equal. That was arguably Real Madrid's greatest ever team and they had just won 4cls. They had players like Ronaldo and Benzema upfront, and can bring in subs such as Bale. We had the mighty Higuain as our answer lol.

The debate about Allegri's first run is old now anyway. We can all agree to disagree

He sucks now and that's all that matters. We can all agree to agree.

No one is saying you need to look fondly on those finals. There is no argument to be made that the 2014-2018 period was shit for Juve fans. If we were favourites to win CL then you could say it was disappointing not to win, but we weren’t, we faced two all-time great club sides, one that is probably the greatest CL side of all time in that 5 year period. We lost. The Cardiff final sucked ass. Doesn’t change that we won 4 straight domestic finals and won 11 CL knockout matches in that period against some great sides, and made two finals for the first time since 2003. It was a great period to be a Juve fan, full of success. Could it have been better with a CL trophy, certainly, but saying it was shit is stupid.

I was so hyped for that 2017 final - I even had friends over :sigh:

In 2015, I really didn't expect anything - I was just happy we were there, and I was fully prepared for the loss. However, in 2017, I felt more confident (I don't know why - in retrospect it seems foolish).

Anyway, there is no point in downgrading Failegri's accomplishments during that period - they were stellar. We were a dominant force, both at home and abroad. We commanded the respect (fear even) of everyone.

Post that 2017 final, we've been on a downward spiral, and it's not just the coaches that fucked up.

In any case, if Failegri wins Serie A or the Europa League, it will be nigh impossible to dispose of him. However, failure to win any trophy for a second successive season (and no, the SuperCoppa doesn't count) is a monumental failure, considering the players and wages, and Failegri should be fired with extreme prejudice, along with everyone, starting from the fraudulent Super League obsessed pube-faced manchild at the top.

It is funny that Allegros are using Juve history post 2003 till 2015 as a period to show Europe competitiveness is brought back.

We are suffering from Calciopoli to this day.. (and Italy as a whole.. fucking whores fully deserve this for what they did)
Well thanks to the unibro for fucking up the status we reached in 2017/2018..

In anycase, some ppl appreciate results and results only.. some would appreciate the effort and sweat you put on the road.. if you did not get the result.. still some would appreciate the effort..

That being said, no won remembers second place..
We are here saying 9 straight titles.. i only remember 3 runner up (Milan in first one,, Napoli run, and Inter's Conte)

I don't care if we don't win EL , he has to get one of the top 4 spots for sure , I care more about watching the team play like winners like true killers , you loose a fucking ball you go and suicide and get it back or give your best , I want this team move the ball fast pass fast very fast , I want attractive game I want risks, I want commitment ,and the most I want to see those young lads that are exciting to watch , I don't care how much they fuck up , But I want to see them play with their excitement hunger and motivation if he can do that , I don't mind him to stay , but otherwise Fuck off...

Yeah no one remember 2nd place but the truth is Juve in UCL is real suck. We lost so many finals and the only 2 times we won it, we won by penalties. We never won convincingly and our goals against is very poor too.
Even if we get 2nd rate clubs like Tottenham, we would find a way to choke. It's sad but it what it is

People do remember second place. Look at England fans under Southgate. They go on about reaching the semi final of the World Cup never mind reaching the Euro finals.

Under Allegri's first reign, we were battling giants on a yearly basis. These days we get knocked out by chumps lol. L
