Allegri has been hired to win Serie A and be competitive in CL. He's already failed those tasks and it's his second season. Let's say thank you to Mister and let someone else progress with this potentially talented and younger team.
Irrelevant to what place we finish in the league. Regardless with injuries, on paper we have a better squad than Monza for example. No excuses for dropping points.
Fixing the injury issues is two fold: 1) Stop buying players with significant injury history (i.e. Zaniolo, stay away) and 2) our fitness staff obviously suck and can't properly get players recovered or to a acceptable fitness level that at lets helps in injury prevention.
atm I'm all for #allegriout. But now that the discussion is based on supposition, I'd say if we win scudetto AND el AND rebuild team identity AND keep fielding youngsters, I'd settle.

I’d rather we play better in the second half. We’ve had plenty of games this season and the last one where we started strong and fizzled out.
Of course, the ideal case would be to take the initiative for 90 minutes but with our decimated squad that is easier said than done.
I don’t disagree with you. Of course the ideal would be to keep the same intensity throughout the entire game. But like you pointed, this squad doesn’t offer the depth needed to have a stellar season. On top of that our injury cycle has been on repeat. All in all, I think we have enough quality players to make the team perform. It falls to the coach to find the right formation and implement the right ideas so that these individuals can thrive and over perform. Even though we don’t have the resources of a top tier team at the present time, Allegri has enough right elements to create synergy and set the players up for success.
Now that he has an in form Fagioli, a Kostic who thrives in a 3-5-2 and a duo of CBs in full chemistry let’s see what he does with that in the next games. If I see McKennie starting ahead of Fagioli again I’m gonna lose it lol.

just add quality and/or potential to this team and stabilize the wage bill at a lower level too. players like bonucci, tek, sandro, juan, mckennie (etc) have no future here. some of them were very important for years and need to be replaced with quality players.
and get a new fitness team, these injuries are as unbearable and frustrating as it gets
Regardless of whether he should have been sacked a couple months ago or not… if he turns the remainder of the season around he won’t be sacked. One of the two big trophies left to play for would guarantee it imo.
Win EL = stay
Win Scudetto = stay
If he doesn’t win one of them, I hope management shows some balls and sack him, but not all that sure they would.
If he wins scudetto or Europa, I’m fine with him staying another year. But anything less should lead to his sacking. Keeping him on with next to no improvement upon last year’s league campaign and doing significantly worse in Europe would make this club an even bigger joke than it has already become in the last few years.

Even if we were to win the scudetto I still wouldn’t give him full credit. The injuries forced his hand, he would still be playing fuckers like McBurger and the most likely scenario would be us struggling for top 6. After a season and a half earning what he earns and what he has brought to the table I’m done with him.
In fact I was done with the season too but the players playing their hearts out, especially the youngsters, made me come back. Gotta root for them no matter what.
This team can and will be doing better with somebody else.

Meh. No one knows that. And given his history of success, and the fact he has started playing the youngsters, if he continues with them getting good minutes, and we win one of those two trophies it will mean he has turned things around and has us getting good results. We’re going to need ~90 pts to win scudetto. That would mean collecting ~65 pts of the 75 remaining available. That would take some fantastic results. And dependent on who we play, winning Europa would require beating some pretty good teams. Either of those results should grant a stay of execution imo.
on the bolded part. Guys like Fagioli and Miretti making this season exciting. Wish we hadn’t loaned out Cambiaso. Would love to see another driven youngster in what is perhaps our weakest position.

Im not counting the trophies. I want to see if we’re able to build something serious. Good utilising of the youth, solving the injuries, start playing good games. If we finish top 4 and the product we have is something worth keeping im for it.
Its okay to not win as long as we know that we’re ready next year, basically the exact opposite of what we’ve seen now sadly enough

I get this but for the past few seasons we are always hoping next season will be the one where we get back. And then its usual shit start until we finally start playing somewhat better. Allegri had 2 years here, if he fails again this year Im not hoping he would get it right next season. We ll need someone new in that case.
