If we look at facts under Allegri, when he's had a good and healthy squad he's smashed through excellent teams. His exits and losses apart from at Bayern and Madrid (dubious penalty) were when we had major players missing. The two final losses were against incredible teams, nobody beats those two teams at that time. The day we go out to Villarreal with a full-strength, that'll be the official end of Allegri.

Come on, that's a cop-out, we should score against and beat Villareal with only Morata, Vlahovic upfront and without Dybala and Chiesa. We should beat Porto without Dybala and Bentancur. We should beat Lyon without Dybala and Chiellini. We should beat Ajax without Dybala and Cuadrado. You'll always have players missing (and apparently we'll always have Dybala missing after looking at knockout matches where he wasnt available / was barely fit :(), some of whom will be starters, but that's why Juventus first team is 20+ players large.
One thing has not changed is teams coming with a low block and crowding out the box.Last year we beat porto after porto went man down till then it was the same stuff similarly against lyon.So the problem is the coaches or the players or both?

Two midfielders, one attacking and another box-to-box or holding. A new CB to partner with De Ligt. A winger to replace Cuadrado. And already we are way over budget if this list is decent to reliable players where one or two should be a game changer level.
We also need one fullback to replace Sandro/Luca at the bare minimum. If we can have a backup RB, that'd be great.

pls man

tell me a coach that would guarantee to win those finals. we had a very good shot on victory against barcelona (that penalty claim on pogba at 1-1 was legit), and the run to cardiff was impressive too. in his first 4 seasons, allegri's team surpassed the expectations and never fell to an inferior opponent. his current tenure is questionable obviously, but coaches rarely get better than allegri in those 4 years.

edit: ah, you replied to dingus. it makes sense now.
First 3 seasons. 4th season we lost to Atletico, United, young boys and exited to Ajax. We were clear favorites in all these games.

Even 17/18 had nothing impressive in it. Scraping past Tottenham is nothing to sing songs about, and we famously got smashed by Barca and Madrid within that same campaign.

The 3-1 win against Madrid (outdone by the 3-0 loss) was fun to watch ofc

It's true though reaching 2 CL finals with 7-2 aggregate is huge achievement compared to group exit :snoop:
If the referee gives the penalty on Pogba, then we win the match.

But again, we are talking about matches from 5 or 6 years ago. And that's the problem right now. The coach must be evaluated like a player. They improve or decline. It's not Allegri from 6 years ago. Or maybe it but this Allegri needs to ADAPT.

When we criticize Allegri now, people take it as if we are criticizing Allegri's entire career. We're not. And myself personally, always supported him. But to me, he's declining because he is not adapting.

If you stand still, everyone passes you.

Hire a German coach. Need that Genepressing to get these lazy fuckers to move their asses for once.

@DAiDEViL imagine Rabiot working under Klopp
“Renn, Rabiot, Renn!!”

I've said it for a while, we need a German manager, they're producing the best managers right now, anyone but Ragnick

Juventus are ready to let Dybala leave at the end of the season. Allegri wants reinforcements in at least each position to start a new style of play and winning cycle. (Fab della Valle)
And didn't that senile footballing terrorist request Dybala stayed and to build the team around him? :howler:

We aint getting no winning cycle so long allegri is playing his sterile football.

Double standards.

Someone forget the unbeaten run that they worship and blame the players now after abysmal result in CL.

Unbeaten run is Allegri, lost is shitty players

Mixed the order up in my head but the point stands. Nothing about that 4th season in the CL says we were punching up or surpassed expectations in the CL. Last time we did that was the season prior.

The post I was replying to said "in his first 4 seasons, allegri's team surpassed the expectations"

The fact that we can't win those matches without Dybala, Chiellini, Cuadrado is the reality of our squad level. We didn't plan well enough for those moments and we got exposed again for being a squad of very limited capabilities. Without Dybala and Zakaria we'll go out in the Coppa when we face either Milan, 100% sure of it.
